About the Role

We’re looking for experienced and talented Senior & Staff Product Designers to join our Design team; from our AI stream, to Core Experience, through to Security Compliance and Administration. 

You'll apply a customer-centric approach to complex problem-solving and collaborate with other designers from some of the highest-profile companies in the world. We operate in a fast-paced environment and get to have a direct impact on the millions of users who rely on Miro to collaborate. As a part of our Product Design team, you will contribute to our design process, culture, and experience principles and set new standards for design quality.

Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with 2 days a week in the office. We are hiring for both our London and Berlin hubs and are also open to remote within EMEA.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end-to-end design process with a focus on bringing delight to our users, learning from customers and iterating
  • Partner with the cross functional teams to ensure we’re prioritizing and solving the right problems for our users 
  • Translate insights from research and data to deliver scalable design concepts and detailed solutions that provide measurable value and impact
  • Work in different levels of fidelity from simple sketches all the way to high fidelity advanced prototypes to help illustrate design concepts, test their viability, and support the development process
  • Work closely with other designers and the design system team to systemize solutions and ensure they seamlessly integrate with Miro’s wider product experience
  • Work closely with the wider Design team to ensure solutions are fully accessible

What you’ll need

  • 6+ years of product design experience with evidence of systematic design thinking and having implemented delightful product experiences with a strong customer fit and demonstrated business impact
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with proven examples of ‘sweating the details’ and shipping quality detailed interactions 
  • Experience validating new products, and iteratively validating and finding product market fit.
  • Experience working within large Design teams in mid-to-large product companies (200+). Experience with enterprise applications and services is a plus
  • Expert technical knowledge and skills in Figma, working with advanced capabilities such as libraries and analytics, variants, autolayout, and dev mode, as well as building out prototypes to successfully validate experiences with customers
  • Ability to work independently and take a leading role in design and experience decisions
  • Ability to connect and align product across a wide range of stakeholders, and desire to seek feedback proactivity and align on the best direction
