Summary Generated by Built In

eduMe is an innovative frontline training solution used by businesses globally to upskill and empower their workforce by embedding engaging training into their flow of work. Workday-backed and certified, we partner with companies like Uber, Marriott, and Home Depot to improve the onboarding, productivity, retention, and safety of their people.

We have offices in Los Angeles, US, and London, UK, and we are driven by a shared mission to make a difference. Motivated, caring, results-oriented, and passionate about what we do, we’re looking for like minded individuals to join us on the journey!

You will work in one of our autonomous product squads, owning an area of the product, building a better understanding of our customers' problems and delivering lovable solutions. In addition, you will team up with the other designers to improve our design process and mentor others in areas where you have valuable experience to share.

Please note: We’re hiring for multiple Product Design roles, if you don’t quite have the experience that we describe below, check out our Product Designer position.

What you’ll do:

  • Join customer calls, dig into data with your Product Manager or run other appropriate research activities to investigate and understand our users’ needs
  • Take the lead on generating new ideas and guide others in activities to foster inspiration
  • Effectively collaborate with your whole squad (Product Manager, Engineers, QA) to take an idea from early concept through to a fully-validated feature release
  • Own bigger strategic changes to the product, thinking holistically and including stakeholders from across the company
  • Contribute to improving the design process and regularly share your relevant expertise with the other designers to improve their craft
  • Promote high standards for usability, accessibility and quality of design work across the product.

What you’ll need:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, working on web-based products
  • You consistently apply product thinking to focus on the “why?” as much as “how?”
  • You’ve repeatedly led on taking features from ideation and research right through to successful post-launch adoption
  • You work across the full Product design discipline rather than specialising heavily in one particular area. Ideally you’re as comfortable solving usability and IA issues as you are at producing high-quality visuals or crafting great microcopy.
  • Experience in planning and facilitating qualitative user research
  • Experience contributing to and evolving a design system as part of a multi-person design team
  • Experience with a variety of effective product processes, and an appetite to bring these to your squad and the wider Product team
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a thoughtful process and high-quality output
  • A preference for taking an iterative approach; you aim to create highly useful and engaging experiences, but favour progress and learning over perfection.

What we will offer you:

  • 33 days of paid leave a year (including bank holidays) with the option to carry 5 days over
  • Inclusion in the company share option plan - you're a part of the success!
  • Flexible working to support you, your life, and those around you, supported by a generous budget to set up your home working environment for comfort and success
  • On top of the above, we offer every employee the chance to spend a month working from anywhere around the globe, every year
  • Private healthcare with Vitality
  • Enhanced parental leave for primary and secondary carers
  • A Personal Learning and Education budget and time dedicated for any learning activities you want to pursue

What We Do

In a distributed world, distributed workforces needed to be trained, informed and engaged effectively. EduMe was born to speak to this need - to train people whenever they need it, wherever they are.

In January 2022, we closed our Series B funding round which will support us scaling up our teams, continuing to innovate our product and bringing eduMe to new verticals and markets. This round was led by Prosus with participation from Workday Ventures and Series A lead investor Valo Ventures.

EduMe is a mobile training platform that uses technology to empower deskless workers to be successful in their roles. We offer solutions to onboarding, training, and ongoing development that enables high performance. We ensure employees have seamless access to the relevant knowledge they need to excel, at any given time.

We were crowned as one of London’s top 50 start-ups to work for in 2022 and given accreditation by Flexa as a truly flexible place to work.
