Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Product Designer to drive design in one of our cross-functional product teams.  Whether it’s an explorer team discovering new markets to drive growth, or a core team building and monetising value propositions, every team at Houseful is committed to supporting renters and buyers find their next home.

As a Senior Product Designer at Zoopla, you are at the forefront of shaping the future of our product. You bring a unique blend of creativity, technical skill, and user empathy to your work. Your journey in design is marked by a deep understanding of how design impacts both users and the business. You’re a problem-solver, a storyteller, and an advocate for the user.  Your designs not only look great but are backed by data-driven decisions and a thorough understanding of user needs.

You’re a doer who goes with the flow but knows when to push for better. You’ve got a bias toward action and problem solving and you get business commercials. You understand great experiences + commercial strategy make a great product. You’re resilient, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to adapt to changing circumstances without missing a beat.

Your toolkit is filled with an array of design methodologies and practices, and you're always eager to learn and adapt to new challenges. After all, great design is a balance between art and science, and you apply this philosophy to every aspect of your work.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in product design, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen eye for detail.
  • User research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Workshop facilitation, ideation sessions and design sprints.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Knowledge of current technology trends and design best practices.
