Senior Product Designer - Exchange

About the role:

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of Crypto.com’s institutional platform, bringing deep expertise in designing for complex trader workflows and a strong foundation in modular/atomic design systems. This role offers the chance to:

- Lead the architecture and design of a comprehensive institutional trading platform.

- Collaborate closely with a high-performing development team.

- Shape sophisticated, data-driven experiences for professional traders on desktop interfaces.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll have the autonomy to implement your vision while collaborating with talented designers, developers, and product managers who are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Craft a modular interface
• Develop and maintain a system of modular components that seamlessly assemble into advanced trading views.
• Design tailored workflows and interactions to facilitate efficient customization and intuitive navigation.
• Create detailed interfaces and visualizations that organize and present extensive data in trader-friendly formats.




Research and Measure

• Speak to users and understand their needs
• Research and measure platform usage to identify issues and opportunities for improvement
• Track your changes and see how they affect key metrics




Cross-Functional Excellence

• Partner with engineering leads to ensure seamless implementation of design system components and interactions
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews to align teams on design principles and implementation
• Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the system




Technical Implementation

• Work closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility of design solutions
• Contribute to technical documentation and implementation guidelines
• Drive discussions about architecture and design patterns

Requirements:

• Must-Have Qualifications
• Experience with trading interfaces: Strong background in designing trading or financial platforms, with a focus on intricate, data-rich workflows.
• 7+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years focused on desktop-class interfaces.
• Proven track record of building and scaling complex, high-impact products.
• Portfolio showcasing high-quality design and an understanding of trading environments.
• Advanced Figma skills and expertise in prototyping.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles and accessibility standards.
• User research experience and proficiency in data-informed decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly convey design solutions and ideas.




Technical Expertise

• Mastery in creating and managing component libraries using modular and atomic design approaches.
• Experience with design tokens and systematic visual design approaches.
• Proficiency in version control systems for design assets.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and their impact on scalable design systems.




Leadership Abilities

• Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills for effective cross-team alignment.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships across technical and product teams.
• Ability to shape product strategy through thoughtful, user-centered design.
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and influence.
