We’re looking to strengthen Constellation, our Design System team, with a skilled and passionate Senior Product Designer. You will collaborateea closely with Product Designers, UX Writers, Researchers, engineers, and brand teams to establish design standards that ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across platforms.
Your work will empower designers to create exceptional experiences, supporting our vision of becoming the universal symbol of trust. As a key member of the Constellation team, you will balance user needs with business goals while evolving our design system.

In this role, you will advance our design system by developing components and integrating them seamlessly into our products. Additionally, your role will include developing a visual language for illustrations, ensuring that they are cohesive with our brand and product experiences.

Your expertise will enable you to take ownership of this initiative, creating assets and guidelines to replace existing illustrations and developing motion design standards to guide product teams in feature releases.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain design standards, principles, and guidelines. Champion contribution and bridge collaboration between engineers and designers
  • Create and assist in building reusable components that enhance user experiences and align with our brand vision
  • Provide coverage for both B2B and B2C teams, ensuring a consistent and high-quality design system that empowers the team to build delightful experiences
  • Maintain and update design documentation, library components, and guidelines
  • Create and integrate a cohesive visual language for illustrations, establishing necessary assets and guidelines within the design system
  • Develop and implement motion design guidelines that can be seamlessly adopted by product teams in their feature releases
  • This role is embedded in the design system team. Initially, you'll focus on illustration and motion design, with subsequent responsibilities shifting towards maturing the design system
  • Leverage Figma’s advanced features to create scalable design systems
  • Stay updated with the design system market and the latest design developments, tools, and technologies to ensure our design system remains cutting edge
  • Ensure adherence to accessibility guidelines and best practices

Who you are:

  • Proven expertise in product design at a senior level, with significant experience contributing to and evolving design systems, ideally within a technology, digital, or SaaS environment
  • Comprehensive portfolio showcasing UX and UI design skills, focusing on digital products and scalable design systems
  • The ability to showcase your expertise in illustrations and motion design at interview stage 
  • A Design tokens expert who understands how to create, name, and maintain them
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience leveraging its advanced features for design systems. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and usability testing tools
  • Significant problem-solving skills, creativity, and knowledge of the current design system market, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Knowledgeable about front-end possibilities and constraints, with an understanding of responsiveness, accessibility guidelines, and usability best practices
  • A deep understanding of native mobile patterns is an added advantage
