About Roamless

The origin story of Roamless is one that will be familiar to many: we saw something broken and we decided to fix it for good.

We all travel. We all need to stay connected. And we all hate roaming charges. Existing alternatives were clunky, expensive, and unreliable, so we built something better. We made it easy, reliable and affordable for travellers to get connected and stay connected as they roam the world.

Our truly global mobile connectivity service is up to 90% cheaper than traditional roaming. With one eSIM, you get instant, reliable data anywhere in the world. No SIM swaps, no hunting for Wi-Fi, no choosing countries or data packs. Your balance never expires, so you can use it across trips with zero hidden fees or expiration dates.

In just 3 years, we've grown 4-5x Year on Year and have been trusted by +1M users who overall rate us 4.6 on Trustpilot.

🚀 We also recently closed a $12M Series A led by Rasmal Ventures, with participation from Shorooq, Revo Capital, Finberg, and JIMCO, to fuel our mission of becoming the world's first truly global mobile operator.
Hiring globally and fully remote, we're a team of 60, and we're planning to grow to 100+ in the next ~12 months.

About the role

Roamless has a product that 1.5M+ travelers use across 200+ countries. We've built it fast. Now we're entering our optimization phase, and we don't have a product analytics practice yet. No experimentation framework, no analytics playbook, no established processes.

You'll be the first dedicated product analytics hire at Roamless. That means you decide how we run experiments, choose the tools we use, make data accessible to the product team, and establish the frameworks that drive every product decision going forward. This is not a role where you inherit someone else's dashboards and maintain them. You'll set up how we measure success, how we design experiments, and how the team learns from data.

You'll work closely with Elisa (Head of Product), and the wider product, design, and engineering teams. Your work will directly shape everything from onboarding to pricing across our app, website, and partner portal.

Note from our Hiring Manager, Elisa:

Hi, I'm Elisa, and I head the Product team at Roamless. I've spent my career building products at companies like Trivago (Analytics product), Grab, and Visa. As an avid traveller myself, I know we can build the best cross-border connectivity experience for our users. I'm working alongside Ali, our COO, and the rest of the founders, who between them have over 20 years of combined experience in building telecom infrastructure. This mix of deep telco know-how combined with strong product thinking is what makes us uniquely positioned to win this market.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers as a strategic partner throughout the product development lifecycle, using data to shape decisions from ideation to execution
  • Design and run A/B tests end-to-end: define hypotheses, calculate sample sizes, monitor experiments, analyze results, and make clear recommendations to the product team
  • Build the experimentation framework from scratch: establish best practices for how we design, run, and learn from experiments across the app, website, and partner portal
  • Analyze user behavior and product metrics to identify optimization opportunities in our PLG metrics: activation, monetization, retention
  • Define and track key product metrics, ensuring the team understands what success looks like and how we measure it
  • Translate data insights into actionable product recommendations that directly improve the customer experience
  • Build our data culture: teach the product team how to think about experiments, interpret results, and make data-informed decisions

What you will bring:

Must-haves:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or similar role at a tech company, working alongside product, design, and engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests at scale (sample sizing, statistical significance, common pitfalls) and translating results into clear product recommendations
  • Experience setting up experimentation frameworks and analytics best practices, ideally from scratch or at an early-stage company
  • Proficient in SQL: you can write complex queries independently to extract and analyze large datasets
  • Experience creating dashboards with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar)
  • Strong communicator: you translate data into product recommendations that non-analysts can understand and act on
  • Proactive and resourceful: you thrive where things aren't fully defined, and you make them clearer
  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience. You are comfortable with ambiguity, happy to wear many hats

Nice-to-haves:
  • Python or R for statistical analysis
  • Experience with MongoDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Google Analytics
  • Experience in travel, marketplace, or subscription business models
  • Worked across mobile and web applications
