Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Producer to take a leading role in the planning, creation and delivery of Formula 1’s branded digital video content. Reporting to the Executive Producer, Digital Content, this role is central to developing innovative, high quality content across multiple platforms and overseeing production from ideation to final delivery.

As a senior member of the Content Production team, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, guide our Editors and Producers, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that all content meets brand, technical and editorial standards. This role may require occasional weekend, evening and night work depending on deadlines, new content strands and the global race calendar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Producer in planning, developing and delivering Formula 1’s digital video output, with a strong focus on branded content.
  • Lead the full production process across multiple projects, including story development, scheduling shoots, managing logistics, and coordinating editors, researchers and production staff.
  • Take ownership of specific content strands and series, driving them from concept through to final delivery.
  • Ensure all projects comply with F1’s internal policies, procedures and brand guidelines.
  • Supervise and guide Editors and Producers, providing creative leadership, feedback and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, including Marketing, social media agencies and F1 Team Comms personnel.
  • Stay up to date with developments in digital video production and help steer the creative direction of F1’s output.
  • Source and manage the best freelancers/contractors to support production needs.
  • Oversee the final production process, ensuring technical accuracy and factual integrity of all content.
  • Occasionally edit content using Adobe Premiere when required.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Formula 1 developments to ensure content remains contemporary and aligned with the sport.

What Are We Looking For?

A proactive, creative and highly organised production leader who can manage complex projects, inspire teams and deliver exceptional content that reflects the global profile of Formula 1.

Experience

Prior to the role it would be essential that you:

  • Have at least five years’ experience producing TV or digital video content.
  • Have proven experience leading teams in a production environment.

Some desirable experience that you may bring to the role:

  • Experience producing high profile branded content.
  • Experience working within sports or motorsport content environments.
  • Experience managing large‑scale shoots or multi‑stakeholder productions.

Knowledge & Skills

Prior to the role it is essential that you demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate and develop creative teams.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Outstanding English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Formula 1 and the wider motorsport landscape.
  • A broad understanding of current production styles, workflows and techniques.
  • Working proficiency with non‑linear editing platforms (e.g., Adobe Premiere).
  • Knowledge of current production equipment and software, both on location and in the edit environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills when working with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • A high level qualification in Media Studies or a related field with a focus on video production.

Not essential to be successful in the role but you may also have the following qualifications:

  • Training in non‑linear editing platforms, preferably Adobe Premiere.
  • Additional production related training or certifications.

  • Flexible and occasionally willing to work weekends, evenings or nights depending on production needs and race schedules.

  • Discreet, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
