Company Description

Senior Producer (Entertainment)

£Competitive plus company benefits

If you fancy working as a senior producer, making original content for broadcast across some of our fantastic national brands and standalone YouTube channels, then read on!

Working from our Canary Wharf office, you'll take the lead in creating premium content that engages audiences, drives growth, and ensures our national brands continue to innovate. As one of our senior producers, you’ll play a key part in the team, and manage a small team of junior producers too.

Reach Studio launched last year and is a unique blend of editorial and commercial talent, serving multimedia content to both our audiences and advertising partners. Our dynamic team is made up of highly skilled video producers, videographers, editors, designers and strategists. Reach Studio has already launched a variety of content and podcasts including our branded content Let’s Start Talking podcast, Mirror Gaming socials and an exclusive interview with Virgil van Dijk. From developing existing vodcasts to producing new video series’ and formats that our audiences will love, we want you to join us for what's next.

This is a Monday - Friday London-based role with a requirement to work from the Canary Wharf offices 3 days per week.

Job Description

What will the role involve?

In this role, you'll develop, produce, and direct short and longform original video and podcast series for YouTube and social platforms. As well as reacting to breaking news, with video filmed out of our in-house production studio, you will develop and produce creative original ideas for entertainment and youth skewing brands that could be shot across the UK.

You’ll guide junior producers, ensuring best practices and top-quality output across the team. You'll also be responsible for casting and managing talent with a strong duty of care, as well as pitching and developing new formats for live streams, podcasts, social videos, shortform series’ and longform features.

We’re looking for a true ideas generator—someone who thrives in creative development sessions and collaborates with senior editorial teams. You’ll be a content specialist, understanding different formats and production constraints, while effectively briefing designers, editors, and talent to bring your vision to life.

Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with other senior producers and strategists based in London. You’ll champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring our content reflects the values of our audience.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a senior producer with a background in coming up with fresh new talent led formats in the ents space.

With big plans across entertainment, news, docs and game shows, we need a producer who can easily flip between genres and manage video and podcast shows shot in our in-house production studio and out on location.

You are experienced in writing up, pitching and developing successful ideas, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude that thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments like news.

Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail are a must, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. If you're brilliant at content development, casting, scripting and directing —and know how to sell a great story to wider teams —we want you on board!
