WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As SimCorp continues its transformation into a technology-enabled services business, we are evolving our delivery model to be horizontally aligned to client outcomes. To support this strategic shift, we are recruiting a Senior Principal Transformation Program Lead to drive the transformation program within our Operations function.

This role will be responsible for designing and executing a large-scale transformation initiative that will enhance client outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and align with SimCorp’s long-term business objectives. The Transformation Program Lead will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver this impactful change across the organization.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Program Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation program focused on transitioning to a horizontal delivery model and delivering standardized solutions.
  • Design and implement transformation strategies across Operations and support teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, ensuring collaboration, resource optimization, and timely execution.
  • Navigate a complex stakeholder environment, proactively managing competing priorities and perspectives to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Track and report on progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Communicate transformation vision, progress, and impact to senior leadership and stakeholders across relevant channels.
  • Partner with People & Culture and functional leaders to design and implement change management programs that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and mentor junior strategy and transformation professionals.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure transformation plans align with business goals and drive long-term success.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Sales, People & Culture) to ensure alignment across delivery and go-to-market efforts.
  • Build trusted relationships across functions, adapting communication styles to suit varied stakeholder needs and influence outcomes effectively.
  • Lead or support internal workshops, and feedback sessions with relevant stakeholders.

Strategic Impact Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic and transformational initiatives that improve operational performance and business growth.
  • Serve as a key advisor on organizational change, delivery models, and transformation best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and transformation methodologies to continuously evolve SimCorp’s approach.

WHAT WE VALUE

We’re looking for an experienced transformation leader with 8+ years of experience driving strategic change in global organizations. You bring:

  • Strategic Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives in a global organization, ideally within financial services or technology-enabled environments.
  • Program & Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes, using agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, resolve conflicts constructively, and build consensus across diverse groups.
  • Change Enablement: Understanding of change management frameworks and experience designing and executing adoption strategies that drive behavioural and cultural shifts.
  • Curiosity & Courage: A growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo, explore new ideas, and take calculated risks to drive meaningful change.
