Responsibilities
Reporting to a Technical Underwriting Director, this is commercially focused opportunity to lead the actuarial pricing and portfolio analytics capability supporting Compre’s prospective reinsurance business. You’ll work alongside underwriters across the full transaction lifecycle, shaping structures, assessing risk-adjusted returns and presenting recommendations to senior management.
You’ll also manage, coach and develop an Actuarial Analyst, helping to build the team’s pricing capability, models and technical standards as the portfolio grows.

Candidate requirements
We’re looking for a qualified actuary with:
• Substantial non-life insurance or reinsurance experience
• Expertise in complex transaction pricing and non-life reserving
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience supervising, coaching or managing actuarial colleagues
• Liability or specialty lines experience; knowledge of portfolio reinsurance structures is advantageous
