Wolf & Badger is on a mission to make retail fair. Supporting our community of independent designers from more than 70 countries, we connect customers with fashion, design, home and beauty from brands vetted against our sustainability guarantees, through our online marketplace and flagship stores in London, New York City and Los Angeles. We are a scale-up business based in the UK and US and a Certified B Corporation, with social and environmental purpose at the core of everything we do. We were the first UK online marketplace to become a certified B Corp, have been recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe's Long-Term Growth Champions, and were one of the first marketplaces globally to take orders placed by AI shopping agents.

The Role

London is where Wolf & Badger started, and we want to be the first name UK press, stylists and creators think of for independent fashion and design. We are looking for an organised and creative Senior PR & Partnerships Manager to make that happen.

Reporting to our Head of PR & Partnerships, who is based in New York and sets our PR strategy across the UK and US, you will lead PR delivery in the UK. Your focus is UK press, UK creators and influencers, and events, from London Fashion Week moments to activations in our Soho store and beyond. You will run our London press office day to day and be the person UK journalists, stylists and creators deal with.

You will work closely with our London content and social teams, our growth marketing team, our Brand Partnerships team and our Soho store team. We use AI to take the repetitive work off your plate, so your time goes on relationships, stories and good judgement.

At Wolf & Badger we champion a low-ego environment where cross-functional debate is encouraged in order to reach the best outcomes. We strive to be mission-orientated and fair at all times, and you will join us in growing an engaged, forward-thinking and high-functioning team.

This is a full-time role based in our Central London office and Soho store 3+ days per week, with occasional evening and weekend work for events.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

UK Press

  • Deliver our UK PR plan, agreed with our Head of PR & Partnerships, and land regular coverage for Wolf & Badger and the independent designers we champion
  • Build close relationships with UK fashion, lifestyle and sustainability media, stylists and tastemakers
  • Find and pitch the stories UK media will want: our independent designers, our B Corp standards, our Soho store and how we use AI in shopping
  • Run the London press office: press enquiries, press materials, sample, image and credit requests, celebrity and event dressing, and press appointments in our Soho store, keeping track of every sample loan with our designer brands and store team, and passing anything sensitive to our Head of PR & Partnerships
  • Keep the UK side of our shared PR and events calendar, including awards entries
  • Success looks like: a high volume, steady run of quality UK coverage for Wolf & Badger and our designers, activating key moments and actively cementing the positioning of the Wolf & Badger platform for UK industry, community, customers and brands; a growing list of journalists and stylists who call us first and an efficient press office service, in conjunction with our community team, where no request or sample loan slips

UK Creators & Influencers

  • Run our UK creator and influencer programme, including ShopMy: finding the right creators, gifting, briefing and building long-term relationships, in line with the creator plan agreed with our Head of PR & Partnerships. Commission rates, tracking and paid amplification of creator content stay with our growth marketing team
  • Work with our London content and social teams on the Wolf & Badger Tastemakers programme
  • Success looks like: an aligned UK and European creator community that genuinely loves posting about us, driving real reach and sales that show up in the numbers we share with growth marketing; driving organic influencer coverage and ensuring we are making the most of the coverage we get by amplifying and showcasing it across our channels

Events & Activations

  • Plan and deliver our presence around London Fashion Week and other key moments
  • Run a programme of press, creator, designer and customer events in our Soho store, and deliver ad hoc activations and pop-ups as opportunities come up, working with our store team from planning to on the night
  • Help find and deliver UK marketing partnerships with like-minded brands, venues and organisations outside our marketplace, agreed with our Head of PR & Partnerships before signing. Relationships with the designer brands on Wolf & Badger sit with our Brand Partnerships team, and anything involving them is planned together. Any commission or affiliate terms sit with our growth marketing team
  • Success looks like: a bi-annual significant London Fashion Week moment people talk about, and a London store event programme delineated by quarter that celebrates craft, skill and a supportive community for starting and growing business, events people want to go to, with each one hitting the coverage, customer or sales goals you set for it

Reporting

  • Track UK coverage, creator reach and event results, report them to our Head of PR & Partnerships, and share what works with our New York team
  • Success looks like: clear proof of what UK & EU PR delivers, reported against internal stretch targets; a highly ambitious set of goals which you set and which has the overarching objective of ensuring everyone knows what W&B is and aspires to be a part of it

Requirements
  • Significant (e.g. 5+ years) in PR, in-house or agency, in fashion, lifestyle, beauty or retail, including hands-on press office experience
  • Strong relationships with UK fashion and lifestyle media and stylists, and a track record of landing quality coverage
  • Experience working with creators and influencers, from gifting to longer-term relationships
  • Experience planning and delivering events, from press breakfasts to Fashion Week moments
  • Excellent organisation: you can run many requests, samples and deadlines at once without anything slipping
  • A strong writer, able to pitch the right story to the right journalist
  • Proactive and resourceful: you spot opportunities and follow them through
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work, or keen to learn
  • Able to work onsite in our Central London office and Soho store at least 3 days per week, plus occasional evenings and weekends for events
  • A genuine passion for independent brands, fashion and sustainability
  • Energy, humour and self-awareness, thriving in a feedback-driven, growth-oriented culture

Highly Desired

  • Experience with ShopMy, LTK or similar creator platforms
  • Experience delivering brand partnerships or collaborations
  • Experience in a scale-up, marketplace or multi-brand retailer
  • Experience working with agencies or freelancers
  • Familiarity with media database and coverage tools such as Roxhill, Cision or Launchmetrics
  • Familiarity with B Corp or mission-driven businesses

This is more than just a PR role. It is a chance to make Wolf & Badger the name UK press and creators think of for independent fashion and design, as part of a PR team working across London and New York. If you're ready to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
