As PR Manager, you’ll: 

  • Lead brand PR strategies, integrating them into larger brand marketing plans and aligning with both short-term and long-term goals. 
  • Partner with brand teams and the wider marketing team to understand business objectives and create comprehensive annual PR strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, representing the PR team at key internal meetings and ensuring PR is a fully integrated element of campaigns. 
  • Oversee media relations and outreach, proactively pitching compelling story ideas to journalists, securing coverage, and growing brand awareness among targeted audiences. 
  • Manage and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service for THG Nutrition, ensuring frequent communication and strong relationships with senior brand leaders. 
  • Oversee and execute virtual and experiential event management, including press and launch events, press mailers, and sample sends. 
  • Create and implement press-worthy media campaigns that ensure international and regional consistency, measurable results, and creative angles that drive coverage in target publications. 
  • Manage content creation, including press releases, media pitches, messaging documents, and award submissions. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key national and industry publications, broadcast media, and other channels to enhance brand visibility. 
  • Support and lead crisis PR situations, managing brand reputation and mitigating negative press coverage. 
  • Track and analyse PR performance, competitor activities, and campaign results using platforms such as Roxhill, SEO Clarity, and Pulsar, ensuring insights are leveraged for future strategies. 
  • Manage campaign and activity calendars, planning, and budgets to ensure effective execution of projects. 
  • Conduct regular 1-1s, quarterly reviews, and daily workflow management with direct reports to ensure team development and optimal performance. 
  • Provide reporting on PR activity, delivering internal presentations where necessary, and ensuring KPIs are met and exceeded. 
  • Stay informed on trends within the nutrition and wellness industry, maintaining a strong understanding of the competitive landscape. 
  • Possess excellent communication, storytelling, and writing skills in English with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Effectively manage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, ensuring strong relationships with media on a global scale. 

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • 5+ years of experience in a PR or communications role. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a team and delivering results. 
  • Strong consumer PR experience, including project management and event management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute successful PR and marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, timelines, and schedules effectively. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK press and strong relationships within the industry at a senior level. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to strategise and plan at a senior level. 
  • Understanding of SEO strategies and their application to PR campaigns.
