Senior Podcast Partnership Manager

In this role you will be responsible for driving significant revenue opportunities across Global’s Podcast portfolio. This includes focussed attention on; agency patches identifying high growth opportunities, inventory that requires proactive sales focus, video and social podcast packages and long-term sponsorship opportunities.

As a senior member of the team, a key focus will be in developing and delivering high quality pitches and inspiration sessions for clients, as well as supporting the immediate Podcast team and wider Agency hubs with selling Global’s Podcast proposition.

As a Senior Podcast Partnership Manager at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building (30%) Build meaningful external relationships with clients and key planning teams within agencies that can help influence Podcast spent with Global. 
  • Brief Responses (40%) Apply your detailed knowledge of Global’s Podcast offering to provide relevant solutions for briefs and development of proactive ideas
  • Identify New Opportunities (10%) Take ownership of specific revenue growth opportunities against new Podcast products, titles and opportunities identified as areas of focus for the business
  • Internal Collaboration (10%) Work with Group Agency Managers, Group Partnership Managers and Global Strategists to ensure that you are involved in all relevant client and agency briefings/pitches/innovation sessions for Podcasts
  • Create Collateral (10%) Help develop and communicate insights and opportunities for internal and external collateral – highlighting new products, audience research, case studies, market developments and editorial updates

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Played a key role in delivering the annual revenue target for Podcasts, efficiently monetising all our packages and products in market
  • Demonstrated a deep knowledge of the Podcast market and identified opportunities of growth within our portfolio
  • Established strong internal and external relationships to ensure you are well placed to include Podcast opportunities on all relevant brief responses  

What You’ll Need

  • You will have a proactive approach to sales with the ability to deliver creative and innovative sales solutions
  • You will have a strong and successful track record in Podcast media sales
  • You will have an excellent knowledge of – and passion for - the Podcasting marketplace as well as understanding the overall media marketplace
  • You will have an excellent teammate attitude with the ability to empower colleagues across the business
