Role purpose

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Platform Product Manager to join our team, with a key focus on critical platform operations to service clients across multiple global Copper entities, and enhance platform features to safeguard and enable secure business operations through effective access management.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Product Managers, Engineers, Finance, Revenue and Operations teams – as well as external stakeholders such as clients or auditors – to analyse, maintain and optimise platform operations, whilst ensuring secure, compliant and efficient handling of digital assets across all platform features.
  

Your responsibilities

  • Define requirements and collaborate with engineering team to maintain best practice for platform authentication and authorisation to protect and permission actions on sensitive data and assets.
  • Collaborate with On-boarding and Operations team to determine platform requirements for organisation and user lifecycle management including (but not limited to) onboarding/offboarding, access management and invoicing.
  • Partner with IT Security, Compliance, and Risk teams to support audits and ensure the platform meets regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for platform permissioning, entitlements, and security controls.
  • Partner with the Technical Content Manager to maintain and document access policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support incident investigations, remediation and risk assessments  
  • Review and recommend improvements for improved user experience, efficiency, scalability, and security
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline access management processes, including integration with other platforms (e.g. salesforce) where necessary.

Your skills and experience 

  • 5+ years professional experience in platform analysis, with at least 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
  • Detailed-oriented and process-driven with strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and documentation skills; capable of translating business needs into technical requirements   
  • Knowledge or strong interest in digital assets and automation opportunities of blockchain technology
  • Desired to improve client lifecycle management through appropriate control processes and integrations in collaboration with internal teams
  • Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets
  • Exposure to audit processes and regulatory reviews for digital platforms
  • Knowledge of RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC frameworks desirable
  • Knowledge of modern policy engines (OPA, Cedar, SpiceDB/Zanzibar) desirable
  • Knowledge of IAM solutions (Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Ping Identity)
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, etc)

  1. Initial Screening A brief conversation with our Talent Acquisition team to explore your background, motivations, and alignment with the role.
  2. Technical Interview A virtual session conducted via Microsoft Teams, where you'll engage with team members to discuss relevant skills, problem-solving approaches, and technical experience.
  3. In-Person Interview A conversation focused on team dynamics, collaboration style, and any final technical questions. This may be with cross-functional peers or leadership.
