About OpenCoreOS
• We're building the first open-source "Thin Ledger", designed to replace legacy core systems with a Golang-based, Protobuf-defined, event-driven platform powered by Kafka, Redis, and multi-region CockroachDB/YugabyteDB.
• Our platform is AI-native from the ground up: autonomous SRE agents, AI-generated runbooks, and everything-as-code—from policies to infrastructure definitions.
• We're mission-critical by default, targeting five-nines uptime and multi-region failover for regulated institutions.

What You Will Do
Infrastructure: Build and scale multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS/GKE) for five-nines workloads.
Architecture: Architect active-active distributed systems (Kafka, CockroachDB/YugabyteDB, Redis).
GitOps: Implement Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD) across cloud and hybrid environments.
Resiliency: Own DR, failover, backup/restore, and multi-region resiliency.
Security: Drive zero-trust security, identity, multi-tenant isolation, and cryptographic audit trails.
Observability: Build and maintain stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and OTEL.
AI-SRE: Lead AI-driven automation (auto-remediation, incident insights, AI-based root cause analysis).
Deployment: Support on-prem/air-gapped deployments and legacy integrations.
Essential Skills
Deep Kubernetes (EKS/GKE; operators/CRDs a bonus)
