Senior People Services Advisor - London HQ Hybrid

Applications are open until 5th January when first stage interviewing starts.

We’re looking for a Senior People Services Advisor to join our dynamic People team. Reporting into the Senior People Services Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering efficient, people-focused support to our employees and managers.

This role is about more than admin. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, drive improvements in how we work, and help shape a service that’s both scalable and genuinely helpful. You’ll need to enjoy getting stuck into the detail, feel confident navigating change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Being the most senior advisor across the team, you'll coach and guide our current global team of people service specialists on ways to streamline processes.

What you’ll be doing
  • Be the first point of contact for People queries and take the lead on escalations and complex cases.

  • Manage the team’s daily workload, making sure we meet our service-level targets.

  • Support projects and People initiatives, always looking for ways to improve how we deliver our services.

  • Contribute to reporting and data analysis, turning insights into action.

  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality across all people-related changes and communications.

  • Oversee key admin processes: onboarding, leavers, changes to contracts, absence management, benefits, and payroll inputs.

  • Spot opportunities to automate and streamline processes.

  • Work closely with People Advisors to keep our documentation and SOPs up to date and useful.

  • Ensure accuracy in our HR systems and data.

  • Help us maintain high standards of service across everything we do.

  • Make sure we’re compliant with employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies.

  • Support audits by providing accurate and timely HR data.

What we’re looking for
  • 3+ years of experience within people operations/ people services or HR operations.

  • Solid experience in a similar HR support or operations role within a fast-paced business.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice.

  • Confidence handling complex or sensitive cases.

  • Experience using and improving HR systems (HRIS).

  • Organised, able to juggle competing priorities, and calm under pressure.

  • Great communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

Why Deliveroo?

We’re on a mission to transform the way people eat and shop. That means connecting customers, restaurants, shops, and riders to the things they want—when and where they want them. It’s fast, constantly evolving, and deeply rewarding.

As a tech-led company, we’re solving real-world problems at scale. You’ll be part of a close-knit team making a big impact—and encouraged to bring ideas, try new things, and shape how we grow.

Benefits & workplace

We know people are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we offer competitive benefits that support wellbeing, family, finances and time away. These include healthcare, generous annual leave, enhanced parental leave and paid time off for volunteering. Benefits vary by location—your recruiter can share more details.

Diversity

We want Deliveroo to reflect the diversity of the world we serve—and to create an environment where everyone feels they belong. Whoever you are, wherever you're from, if you’ve got the skills and the passion, we want to hear from you.

If you need any adjustments to apply or to take part in the interview process, just let us know. We’ll do everything we can to support you.
