A bit about you:
Influencer: you have the ability to inspire and motivate others, leveraging your expertise and credibility to drive change and achieve results. You can effectively build a network of advocates and use your influence to align stakeholders with strategic goals.
Big Thinker: you’re willing to challenge the status quo, speak up and help others see things from other perspectives
Collaboration: relationships get you out of bed in the morning, building and fostering them over time. Also not afraid to challenge and say no, without creating damage
Data Driven: you’ll always start with data, facts, and insights to help inform your approach to solving problems and analysing needs. You have a high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and can use data to provide insights, inform decisions, and visualize it to influence others through storytelling. Additionally, you are adept at leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis, uncover deeper insights, and drive more informed decision-making.
Initiative: we’re not a ‘one size fits all’ kind of business and we’re not looking for off the shelf solutions; we need you to think creatively and be flexible in your outlook
Resilience: you need to be comfortable being challenged and keeping cool and calm through times of adversity
Change Agent: the skills and desire to change the status quo for the better. These should include the ability to manage all elements of organisational transformation, facilitation, and training.
Employee Relations: use knowledge to coach and advise managers and drive necessary actions. With tested mediation skills, you can guide managers in supporting conflict resolution.
Communication: You are an effective and thoughtful communicator who is able to understand diverse perspectives and vary your communication style based on the circumstance.
What you’ve done before Wise:
Technical & Product partnering: Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Partner specifically within Product, or Fintech organisation. You understand the unique talent challenges of scaling "Full-Stack" technical hubs and partnering with CPOs or VPs of Product.
Regulated environment navigation: Direct experience working within regulated financial services or high-governance environments. You can balance the "move fast" startup heart with the "get it right" requirements of global banking regulators.
Lead and contribute to projects across the People function: we’re always looking to improve our ways of working as we continue to grow
Developed a broad range of expertise and skills: no matter the challenge (a restructure, salary benchmarking, skills gap, employee relations, etc) you can bring thought leadership and take ownership
Project management: you’ll be strongly solutions focused, able to identify problems and drive initiatives that have a measurable impact
Regional / multi-site experience: you’re experienced supporting Leads and employees split across geographies and timezones. One of your super powers is being able to adapt to many different cultures and backgrounds
For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.
We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
