Job DescriptionWe’re currently hiring a Senior People Partner on a 9 month fixed term basis to join our Partner team and support a critical phase of change within Wise. You’ll be based in our London Office.
We’re looking for a commercially minded, driven and goal - oriented Senior People Partner to join us at a pivotal moment for Wise. This role will play a key part in supporting the Finance change programme as we progress on our dual-listing journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with finance leadership during a period of significant transformation, while continuing to build a highly engaged, high performing finance organisation.
You will work alongside the People Partner Lead for Finance and the Core Functions, partnering closely with Finance work stream leads to help plan, deliver and land the people elements of the change effectively.
The role offers real scope and impact, supporting leaders to navigate change while ensuring clarity, engagement and momentum across Finance teams.
What problems are we solving
We are continuing to build the People Partner capability at Wise to empower leaders and ensure our people practices scale.
Within Finance we are supporting leaders through a period of significant change linked to our dual - listing journey and broader Finance transformation. This includes ensuring teams are well informed and engaged, building clarity on critical roles and future capabilities and supporting organisation design and leadership effectiveness through change.
As a People Partner, You’ll act as a trusted advisor to Finance stakeholders, spending time understanding business context and supporting the design and delivery of a clear pragmatic people plan aligned to Finance priorities.
What you'll do:
Build close, effective relationships with Finance leads and their teams, acting as a trusted people advisor to support shared objectives, coaching leaders through change and supporting delivery of people plans.
Partner with Finance leadership to plan and deliver people change aligned to Finance transformation and dual - listing readiness, including organisation design, role clarity and leadership capability.
Support leaders to communicate change clearly and confidentially, ensuring Finance teams are well informed, engaged and understand what change means for them.
Create and drive the people strategy, along with metrics and OKRs, for your area of responsibility with a strong focus on supporting Finance through periods of transformation and growth.
Build a clear view of critical roles , succession and future capabilities required within Finance, supporting talent and workforce planning decisions.
Work with the Recruitment team and finance leaders to prioritise, plan and forecast roles for future growth and capability needs.
Drive Organisational development, organisation design, change and engagement within Finance.
Partner with leaders to develop our leadership capability and skills needed to deliver successfully through change.
Work closely with HR Centres of Expertise (CoE) to resolve complex and challenging problems through innovative and agile thinking.
Analyse people metrics and risks adding further insight into the overall health of our teams and to share trends or determine opportunities for focus.
Work closely with the People Partner Lead for Finance , collaborating on the design and delivery of Finance

What you’ve done:
People partnered in a high growth or transforming environment -this will help you know how to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities , and you'll have experience working closely with a scaling, global team.
Supported complex change or transformation - including organisation change, role clarity or capability shifts and helping leaders and teams navigate periods of uncertainty.
Strong stakeholder management - you've built trusted relationships with senior leaders and can influence challenges and support them through change.
Strong Judgement - you use sound judgement to assess problems and drive initiatives that have a measurable impact,
Experience working in or alongside a US - listed or US regulated environment - Supporting leaders through reporting or change requirements.
Regional / multi-site experience - you’re experienced supporting Leads and employees split across geographies and timezones. One of your super powers is being able to adapt to many different cultures and backgrounds
