Position Title: Senior People Operations Specialist  

Contract: Full-time, Independent Contractor  

Posting Jurisdictions: To support US Eastern Time working hours

The Opportunity 

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves bringing order, insight, and momentum to HR. You’ll be at the center of how we run our people operations e.g. owning HR data and systems, keeping policies and compliance tight as we grow, supporting benefits and payroll workflows, and partnering closely with finance, data, and the wider team.  You’re comfortable owning your work end‑to‑end, tech‑savvy and curious about automation and AI, and happy to roll up your sleeves. You work well independently but value collaboration, communicate clearly in English, and bring strong judgment around compliance (US experience is a plus, but not required). Experience with BambooHR & Power BI (or other dashboarding tools) is a bonus.

  • You’re comfortable with tech and curious about better ways of working, especially around data, automation, and AI

  • You like owning your work and have experience in fast‑moving or growing environments 
  • You’re open to jumping into different HR topics as new needs and projects come up 
  • You work well independently in a remote setup, but collaborate thoughtfully and communicate clearly 
  • Experience with BambooHR, Power BI, or dashboards is great, but not required 
  • Any compliance or regulatory experience is valuable; US experience is a bonus, not a must 
  • You have very strong English communication skills. Both written and verbal!  
  • And most importantly: you bring good judgment, positive energy, and want to work collaboratively as part of a great People Team.

  • You’re always looking for ways to make things better, simplifying processes, introducing automation, and turning good ideas into real improvements 
  • Team members know they can count on you; you’re responsive, clear, and helpful when it matters 
  • Working with you feels easy. Finance, Payroll, and Data teams see you as a reliable, thoughtful partner 
  • As we grow, our people operations keep up. They are structured, scalable, and maintain quality 

  

Requirements 

  • Relevant experience in People Operations / HR Operations with ownership of core processes 
  • Strong HR systems and data management experience (HRIS required; reporting/dashboarding creation is a plus) 
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance and operational risk (US exposure is a plus) 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, or similar stakeholders 
  • Proven ability to improve processes and operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments 
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
