We’re hiring our first (Senior) People Business Partner (f/m/d) at Moss — a foundational role that will shape how business partnering at Moss operates for years to come!

Moss is scaling rapidly in terms of revenue and headcount in 2026. To keep our talent bar, performance, and engagement levels high, we're hiring an exceptional People Business Partner with a track record of supporting and elevating teams in high growth environments.

Working side by side with our VP People & Culture and partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition and People Ops teams, you'll be the go-to People person for the C-level leaders, managers, and teams within your part(s) of our organization. Your mission? Enable ~100–200 Mossers and their leaders to operate at their absolute best while embedding high-impact people programs across Moss.

This is a unique opportunity to have serious impact: you’ll work with exceptional colleagues and operate with high ownership and trust in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Your responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary strategic sparring partner to senior leaders and managers across your orgs

  • Build manager capability over time through training, 1:1 sparring, and hands-on support during critical moments

  • Spot opportunities and risks early, cutting through noise and delivering pragmatic, high-quality solutions fast

  • Help leaders successfully embed change and culture initiatives within their teams

People Processes & Programs

  • Be the absolute expert on your org, using data and a deep understanding of your teams and our business to keep the pulse on all things relevant to performance, progression, engagement, and retention

  • Own Moss’ core people cycles end-to-end within your org, including probation period check ins, biannual performance feedback cycles, and biannual review cycles

  • Lead engagement survey analysis, conduct stay interviews, and identify and drive initiatives key to retention

Priority Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Deliver insights that inform headcount planning and overall talent acquisition strategies

  • Whenever needed, lead end-to-end hiring for priority and leadership roles in your orgs

About you

  • You have HRBP experience in a startup/scale-up environment of comparable size and complexity (100–500 FTEs)

  • You have a proven ability to coach and upskill managers, including senior leaders

  • You have hands-on experience running full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles, including leadership, and are willing to take on roles

  • You have a strong track record managing e.g., performance cycles, compensation reviews, engagement programs, and progression frameworks

  • You have a strong ability to balance strategic thinking with fast, hands-on execution in an ambiguous environment

  • You are extremely skilled at building trust with stakeholders of all levels of seniority, and adept at working seamlessly with multiple People subfunctions (TA, People Ops, People Programs)

  • Ideally, you've had exposure to multi-country EU labor law environments

  • Most importantly, you're ready to set the bar for what exceptional business partnering looks like at Moss!

In addition, here are the skills and attributes we are looking for:

  • Extreme ownership — you take responsibility end-to-end and deliver outcomes that raise the bar

  • Fast execution — you move quickly, cut through complexity, and show bias toward action

  • Data-driven decision-making — you use evidence, insight, and patterns to guide decisions and influence leaders

  • High candor, low ego — you speak plainly, prioritize what's best for the company over everything else, and challenge with clarity and respect

  • Resilience — you bounce back quickly and independently from challenges, setbacks, or difficult situations
