The opportunity: Senior Partnership Manager, Google and Youtube

Location: London, UK 


THE ROLE

MiQ is seeking an exceptional Senior Partnership Manager to serve as the primary liaison between MiQ and Google (including YouTube). 

This role will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and managing critical partnerships while ensuring seamless internal communication across media trading, product marketing, sales, and product teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a can-do attitude that energizes cross-functional collaborations.

Based in New York or London, this position will report directly to MiQ’s Global Vice President of Advanced TV, and function as part of MiQ’s global partnership and strategy team, driving growth in a key strategic partnership for MiQ.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a central point of contact for diverse internal teams, ensuring alignment and clarity on partnership initiatives
  • Regularly coordinate with media trading, product marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure partnership strategies are clearly communicated and understood across the organization.
  • Establish structured channels for gathering feedback from internal teams to continuously improve partnership initiatives and share learnings across departments.

Relationship management

  • Act as the central point of contact between MiQ and Google, ensuring a responsive and proactive relationship that anticipates partnership needs.
  • Cultivate relationships with key contacts at Google, nurturing trust and promoting joint business growth.
  • Address operational or strategic challenges, coordinating solutions across internal and external teams to minimize disruptions and maintain a healthy partnership.

Project Management & Strategic Initiatives 

  • Develop and lead key initiatives and deliverables, overseeing projects from inception through execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate comprehensive best practices and process documentation to ensure consistency in project delivery and enable scalable success.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation within the Google stack and spearhead pilot projects that test new ideas and expand MiQ’s capabilities in digital advertising.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Implement tracking systems to monitor progress against revenue targets, ensuring that partnership activities contribute to business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver regular, concise performance briefings to senior leadership.

Roadmap Collaboration

  • Engage in regular strategic sessions with Google to align on product roadmap developments, ensuring MiQ is positioned to leverage the latest platform innovations.
  • Act as a conduit for new product features, updates, and best practices from Google and YouTube, translating these into actionable strategies for MiQ teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and Google’s evolving offerings to proactively suggest adjustments to MiQ’s strategic approach, maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years in partnership, business development, or consulting roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in advertising and AdTech, with expertise in Google Ads, DV360, and other Google buying platforms considered a strong plus.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and complete projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, energetic mindset that drives results and inspires collaboration.
