  • A Law Degree (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or equivalent legal qualification.

  • 3-5 years of prior experience as a paralegal working on financial regulation

  • A sound understanding of financial services regulation

In addition, the following would be preferred (but are not absolutely required):

  • Proficiency in French

  • Direct experience in an authorised fintech (such as a payment institution, e-money institution or neo-bank), or at a law firm with a strong regulatory practice

  • Demonstrable understanding of the UK and EU regulatory landscape for Payment Services Providers, including core concepts of the Payment Services Regulations (PSR) and Electronic Money Regulations (EMR)
