Who we are

CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery - our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone.

We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers and the neighborhoods they’re in. Every time we launch a new facility we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.

We're changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

What you’ll do

We are a rapidly growing scale-up looking to grow our EMEA legal team as we scale in the region!

You will join a supportive and progressive EMEA legal team focusing on Europe, and report to legal counsel based in London. It is a varied role, and no two days are the same. You will be working closely with the business (both in EMEA and globally), in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  In addition to primarily supporting corporate entity governance and maintenance matters, this role will also provide more general support to the EMEA Legal team as needed.

We believe we do our best work together in person and are in the office 5 days a week.  Our office location is near the London Eye.

Key Responsibilities:
  • UK and European CoSec work: filing registrations and confirmation statements in the UK.  Working with local counsel to manage registrations, annual filings, capital registrations, KYC requirements, or similar across Europe.
  • Entity management: draft basic corporate documentation/resolutions for the formation and maintenance and dissolution of European entities and keep them in good standing. Preparing template documents, such as intercompany loans.
  • Corporate governance and support: managing a signing authority matrix, managing corporate governance document database, maintaining legal entity management software and entity org charts (hCue), and arranging execution of contracts and legalisation of documents.  Managing entity governance changes, such as change of directors, or change of registered addresses.
  • Legal operations: owning processes for document routing from inception through to execution and database storage.
  • Liaise internally: with other departments and global legal teams to provide legal support as necessary.
  • Coordination with outside counsel and other professional service providers.
 What we’re looking for
  • Academically, we are looking for someone with a law degree or other legal qualification, or an experienced corporate company secretary. However, a love of being compulsively organised is more vital.
  • Ideally, you have at least 2 years of paralegal or company secretarial experience in private practice and/or a similar in-house role providing corporate governance and company secretarial support.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Must be confident, collaborative, and able to operate in a fast-growing global startup environment.
  • A flexible and team-oriented attitude is needed to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Quick learner and willing to assist with a variety of paralegal and legal operations tasks.

Why join us

  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.

What else you need to know
