About Soar Group

The Soar Group is a UK performance agency group comprising three specialist agencies. With over £100M+ in yearly ad spend under management and a team of 130+, we work with 7-9 figure DTC and e-commerce brands across Meta, TikTok, and Google.

We were nominated for Meta's Creative Diversity Award 2025 and were named the UK's #1 independent Meta agency group by Meta. Our creative department is the group's biggest growth lever - and this role is central to where it goes next.

Our values: Extreme Ownership. Radical Curiosity. Kind Candour. Outcome Obsessed.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Paid Social Specialist to run and scale paid media performance for a portfolio of ambitious e-commerce brands. This is a hands-on, execution-led role for someone who lives inside Meta and TikTok Ads Manager, knows exactly why an account is winning or losing, and can move fast to fix it.

You'll take full ownership of campaign performance across your accounts - structure, targeting, budget deployment, creative testing, and optimisation - while working closely with Growth Executives and creative teams to keep testing velocity high. You're the specialist clients trust because you know their account better than anyone, and because your recommendations are backed by data, not guesswork.

This is a great fit for someone who wants deep ownership of paid media performance without the overhead of broader commercial strategy - someone who wants to be the best in the room at running paid social, not managing a strategy function.

Your Impact
  • Take day-to-day ownership of paid media performance across a portfolio of e-commerce accounts.
  • Build, launch, and optimise campaigns across Meta and TikTok (Google exposure a plus).
  • Diagnose performance issues fast - creative fatigue, targeting inefficiency, budget misallocation, conversion drop-off - and act on them.
  • Run structured testing roadmaps across creative, audiences, and offers.
  • Turn account data into clear, practical recommendations clients understand and trust.
  • Work closely with Growth Executives and creative teams to keep output quality and speed high.
  • Join client calls to walk through performance, testing plans, and next steps.
  • Use AI tools daily to speed up analysis, reporting, and campaign management.

RequirementsStrategic Execution & Collaboration
  • Work closely with Media Buyers and Growth Executives to ensure strategic plans are executed effectively.
  • Clearly communicate strategic priorities, testing roadmaps, and performance objectives.
  • Delegate effectively and create alignment between strategy, creative, and execution.
  • Improve operational throughput by increasing clarity, efficiency, and accountability across accounts.
  • Ensure campaigns, creative, and media buying efforts remain aligned to client growth goals.
Client Leadership & Communication
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients as a true strategic growth partner.
  • Lead strategic conversations and confidently guide clients through performance decisions.
  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, commercially-focused way.
  • Set the narrative around account performance, opportunities, and next steps.
  • Help clients understand not just what is happening in their business, but why it matters.
  • Maintain a high standard of ownership, responsiveness, and communication.
Data-Driven Optimisation
  • Use Shopify, Triple Whale, GA4, and ad platform analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Continuously optimise account performance across creative, budget allocation, targeting, conversion rate, and offer positioning.
  • Monitor key commercial metrics including ROAS, MER, CAC, AOV, contribution margin, and customer LTV.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement across accounts.
AI & Operational Efficiency
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate research, ideation, analysis, and strategic thinking.
  • Leverage AI to streamline workflows, improve output quality, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can unlock faster insight discovery or better decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI tools and workflows relevant to performance marketing and growth strategy.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta and/or Google.
  • Deep understanding of growth levers including offer strategy, conversion optimisation, creative performance, and budget deployment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to diagnose account challenges using data and recommend strategic solutions confidently.
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of creative strategy and performance-driven messaging.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Media Buyers, Creatives, and wider delivery teams.
  • High proficiency in Shopify, Triple Whale, GA4, and e-commerce analytics tools.
  • Strong AI fluency and comfort integrating AI into day-to-day workflows.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
Mindset
  • You take extreme ownership of outcomes and accountability for performance.
  • You are commercially minded and obsessed with results.
  • You are proactive, solutions-driven, and calm under pressure.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
  • You are curious, adaptable, and continuously looking for ways to improve.
  • You embrace AI and technology as leverage for better work and faster execution.
