About the role:

Working within the Financial Systems team, the role provides key frontline support.

The role will involve resolution of support issues in Oracle Fusion Supply Chain as well as scope to assist the business on new projects and deliverables, whilst maintaining the integrity of financial information.

Be involved with change requests from the initial request through to implementation into the production environment

Support the business and end users in adaption of Oracle Fusion

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work side by side with the other support analysts across Oracle Financial Systems Team
  • You will work closely with the Application Manager to ensure change requests are completed via the change management process.
  • Work closely with business users for continual service improvement. Building rapport and credibility.
  • Manage your queue of incidents through to resolution. Ensuring that the resolution is fully documented and working with Oracle Support if you are unable to resolve yourself.
  • Manage with service requests from users through to implementation into the production environment.
  • The ability and experience of impact assessments of change.
  • The ability and experience of impact assessments of quarterly updates from Oracle.
  • Supporting our users with the SaaS quarterly update life cycle.
  • To highlight trends and major incidents to your Team Leader
  • Document key process and How to Guides to support other team members and knowledge share.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience working as an Oracle ERP/Fusion Support Analyst (or functional consultant) for Oracle ERP Applications (Fusion cloud) for Supply Chain Modules.
  • Oracle Fusion SME on SCM (Procurement, Inventory, Costing,Planning, Supply Chain Financial Orchestration ) 
  • Configuration and supporting SCM modules on oracle fusion.
  • Understanding and experience in Configurations/Customisations, Extensions, Modifications, Localisations, Interfaces (CEMLIs).
  • Experience on Business Process Management (BPM) workflows / OBI / OTBI / SmartView.
  • Experience of managing Oracle Service Requests, including Sev-1 SRs, and the SR escalation process.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems, including functional replication of issues.
  • Experience of change control management and release management.
  • Management of change requests through development and testing lifecycle, conforming to industry standard and within scope.
  • Demonstrate professionalism: Being responsive, reliable, and putting the customer first.
  • Committed to using the right trusted resources to develop expertise.
  • Able to form highly trusting relationships built on integrity and openness. 

Preferred (in addition to minimum) :

  • Knowledge of Apex application
  • Oracle R12 / Cloud
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • JIRA 
  • ITIL Certification
  • Oracle Certifications

  • You will have an understanding of the ITSM frameworks relating to incidents, problems and the change management life cycle.
