Company Description

At Wise we’re building money without borders, for people without borders. Our mission is to make moving money around the world instant, transparent, convenient and eventually free. Wise now has millions of customers all over the world who trust us to manage their money and make it easier to live an international life. Sending, receiving, spending and holding - anywhere in the world. The “holding” part is where Wise Assets plays a role and we’re looking for a Growth Manager to join the team.

Job Description

Wise Assets is one of the fastest-growing features today, with Stocks and Interest live in the UK, EU, Singapore, Australia, and expanding further. Our customers now already earn £50m a month from their money held across the currencies on Wise. Holding money with a bank is non-transparent and unfair. It is non-transparent because you don’t know what the bank is doing with your money, who they are lending it to, and how much they are making from it. It is unfair because they provide you with free services, which you don’t know how much they cost to provide, and give you almost zero return for holding your money with them. Unfortunately, as interest rates have increased around the world, this problem is getting worse as banks pocket a greater share of this income.

The Wise Account is our antidote to holding money in a bank. With our Assets product, we enable our customers to decide how they want to hold their money. They can choose what it is invested in and what return it makes. We then charge a fair and transparent fee before returning the rest to them. It’s simple; it is our customers' money, so they should benefit from the return it generates.

Here's what you'll be up to:

  • The Pitch:
As part of the product team, you own how the Assets feature is positioned and presented to customers within our apps. You are the voice of the customer, mapping the needs of users around the world when it comes to investments. Working closely with the research and design teams, you gather insights that drive adoption across both marketing and product strategies.

  • Campaign:
You know the customer like your best friend. For campaigns, you provide insights into the user journey, profiles, needs, and pain points. You support the marketing team with this knowledge to build campaigns that span from top-of-funnel awareness to conversion.

  • Go Direct:
You own direct conversations with clients in our day-to-day work. You read NPS feedback, monitor social comments, and organize customer events. Your role is to bring the user’s perspective into every discussion—with marketing, product, and design teams. The research team will be your partner in crime, ensuring the customer’s voice is always heard.

Qualifications

What we're looking from you:

  • Demo of Your Metrics Framework and Results:
Share a demo or an overview of a metrics framework you’ve used in your past work. Explain how you developed the framework, the data skills involved, and how it led to actionable insights and measurable results. We’re particularly interested in how you used data to drive decision-making and achieve success.

  • Example of a Misaligned Insight and Its Resolution:
Provide an example of a time when your insight or user understanding proved to be incorrect. Explain why this happened, how you validated or corrected it, and the impact it had on the product or project. Showcasing your ability to adapt and learn from such moments is key.

  • Deep Understanding of the User Journey:
Demonstrate your expertise in understanding the user journey—from the initial identification of a need to the daily adoption and use of a product. Highlight your ability to map pain points, communication channels, and product flows, using this knowledge to both enhance the product experience and increase adoption. Share examples of how you’ve effectively aligned communication plans and product improvements with user needs.
