Focussed primarily on New Business, the team is one of the few that works closely with all departments across the business to deliver best in class responses to client requests for proposals. Senior New Business Manager
The role
The Senior New Business Manager plays a central role in driving Hogarth’s growth, leading pitch responses, RFx submissions and client presentations that clearly articulate our value and deliver winning results.
This role blends strategic thinking with strong project leadership. You’ll take ownership of multiple opportunities — managing timelines, inputs, and stakeholders to ensure every response is delivered on time and to the highest standard — while also shaping the story that ties it all together.
You’ll be responsible for creating a clear red thread and a compelling narrative that connects disparate materials into a cohesive, client-centric story. Working alongside client leads, you’ll ensure every submission has a strong overarching narrative — one that is distinct, persuasive, and directly addresses the client’s brief and objectives.
You’ll help define the strategic approach for each opportunity, ensuring the story, structure, and positioning of every response reflect Hogarth’s proposition and competitive advantage. You’ll balance creative flair with commercial understanding — able to explain how our operational model works, why it’s effective, and what it delivers for clients.
Key activities:
- Take ownership of specific new business opportunities, leading the process end-to-end — from strategy to submission.
- Develop cohesive and compelling narratives that bring together strategy, operations, and creative thinking into a unified client story.
- Shape and articulate operational models and value propositions clearly — demonstrating how they work, why they matter, and the benefit to the client.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client leads to ensure each response and presentation has a strong, client-centric narrative.
- Liaise with WPP agencies and colleagues on multi-agency opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Hogarth, WPP, WPP OpCos, and intermediaries.
- Support the ongoing development of case studies, marketing collateral, and credentials materials.
- Ensure the New Business Growth Hub is up to date with high-quality content that adheres to brand guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and broader industry trends to keep Hogarth’s positioning sharp and differentiated.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Strategic thinker who can distil complexity into clarity and align ideas to client needs and business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across Hogarth, WPP, and client organisations.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and large volumes of content across stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive — passionate about achieving goals and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A collaborative, positive, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Business and financial awareness, with an understanding of ROI and how to convert opportunities into profitable client wins.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with a good eye for design (advanced design skills not required).
- Experience supporting the pitch process within a production, digital, data, or content agency.
- A broad understanding of all media channels – offline, press, outdoor, radio, TV, PR, in-store, online, and social media.
- An understanding of the global advertising production market.

Hands on
No egos here. Just a shared drive to roll up our sleeves and make great things happen. Every project--big or small, gets our full energy because we believe in doing things right. Every single time. It's how we deliver real results without cutting corners.
Honesty
We are real and authentic – with each other and in our work. Honest, direct communication builds the trust we need to collaborate, grow, and make meaningful things together. It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it.
Heart & Soul
We bring heart to everything we make. Passion, pride and relentless drive push us beyond “good enough” ––because we care deeply about our craft, and we’re always chasing better. We love what we do, and it shows.
Happy Family
Creating a space where everyone feels valued--even when opinions differ, makes this a supportive and inclusive environment for our people. We embrace our differences, celebrate our wins together, and never lose our sense of humor.
Hungry
Curiosity keeps us hungry. We question, experiment, and always seek out what's next. We never settle, and we never stop learning.
