We specialise in brand experience and design, helping our clients achieve greater things from full brand strategy & identity to website design, digital and advertising, social campaigns, UI, merchandise, and plenty more. JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Motion Designer with 5+ years of experience in both 2D and 3D animation to join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.
Motion is just as essential as concept or tone of voice for us and our motion team plays a key role within every project, impacting how brands move and come to life. You will work alongside a talented team of designers, a Design Director, and a Creative Director, contributing your expertise to create innovative and engaging brand experiences. 

We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead projects from start to finish. You’ll bring brand behaviors to life through engaging animation, turning ideas into compelling stories that truly stand out. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work on time, showcasing your skills in both conceptualisation and execution. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other motion designers within the team, guiding their growth and sharing your expertise to help them thrive.

The work we do is diverse and exciting. One day, you might animate a bold new design identity; the next, create a stunning billboard for Times Square. No two days are ever the same.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional motion work that challenges the standard of output at DEPT®, continuously coming with a fresh perspective and raising the bar for the team
  • Create engaging and innovative narratives that push beyond current trends 
  • Maintain an outstanding level of motion design craftsmanship with a keen attention to detail and precision in execution
  • Work flexibly across multiple projects, from the conceptual phase to delivery, crafting storyboards, motion assets, films indent, and any other motion assets relevant for the project who are involved in
  • Contribute confidently, both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all deadlines are met with high-quality work
  • Articulate and communicate clearly the concept and idea behind the work, coming up with solution and next step
  • Collaborate with our Design Directors and Creative Director to ensure the smooth execution and timely delivery of projects
  • Work directly with client teams, building and nurturing positive client relationships throughout the entire project
  • Present your work confidently, from concept to final work to the client during the entire project, maintaining strong, positive relationships
  • Share your passion for animation, motion design, 3D, inspiring and motivating the rest of the team during our design meeting
  • Take the lead on creative deliverables, managing projects from initial briefing through to final delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Highly skilled in After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Cinema 4D and related render engines.
  • Exceptional eye for animation timing and pacing.
  • Adaptable and versatile in motion design, with the ability to cater to the diverse needs of different client categories.
  • Deeply connected to culture, with a strong awareness of both current and timeless trends.
  • Highly creative, consistently generating fresh ideas.
  • Attentive to both fine details and the larger vision of a project.
  • Strong knowledge of typography.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a larger team.
  • Skilled in balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Nice to have:

  • Coding, colour grading, audio production, AR and VR are a bonus.
