As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Blacklane’s chauffeur domain, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a great experience for our chauffeurs. You will be an active part of defining the team’s roadmap, reviewing pull requests and engaging in pair programming sessions as well as:
- Take a leading role in the architectural design and development of our chauffeur app while dealing with ambiguity of complex features
- Mentor and foster a culture of continuous learning with your colleagues
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and help your teammates grow
- Utilize your strong problem-solving skills to solve complex technical issues
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and emerging technologies and aid their integration into our projects
- Collaborate with product and design to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience
- Lead conversations: Communicate across teams and our stakeholders to understand the big picture as mobile products extend to the services they use
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to commit to team decisions
- Can balance out engineering and product requirements
- Comfortable with automated tests (unit, functional, end to end)
- Confident to lead production incidents and investigate and resolve issues on the spot
- Can mentor less experienced engineers to level up there soft and hard skills
- Experience with GraphQL and/or REST and the network stack in general
- Knowledge about automated CI/CD pipelines
- 5+ years of experience in iOS app development using Swift
- Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, design patterns, and best practices
- Proficiency in Xcode and related development tools
- Knowledge about App Store Releases, Fastlane, CocoaPods and SPM
- Optional experience with tools like Phrase, Runway or Datadog
