As part of the central Media Planning team, you will focus on delivering media campaigns on a global scale, working towards key upper and mid-funnel goals specifically to support the growth of DAZN expansion markets. We live, breathe, and think growth and are looking for someone who can take paid media campaign planning ownership, from briefing through to delivery and beyond, through a strategic lens to push channel innovation. 


In this role you will be a key member of the DAZN Media Planning team, within the Marketing Operations organisation, and will focus on the holistic paid media channel planning, accountable for proposing impactful and efficient media investment.


This role is based in London.

As our new Senior Media Planning Manager, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the use of a consistent global media planning strategy, working closely with in-house channel leads and our external agencies and partners to define and implement best in class campaigns 
  • Act as a central point of strategic guidance for business stakeholders and a trusted source of full-funnel media planning expertise, to help shape the future of DAZN’s paid media strategy and drive business successes 
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to help coordinate the production of cohesive, timely executed, integrated media campaign plans 
  • Manage and coordinate with the media agency, centrally and locally, on media planning, ATL and local and international media, from brief to execution and post campaign analysis 
  • Work closely with media partners to scope new opportunities and conduct detailed analysis of prior activity, to unlock incremental gains for DAZN 
  • Focus on learnings, the in-house testing roadmap and measurement to drive innovation 
  • Translate media buys into actionable placement insights, supporting the production of best-in-class, native creative from our in-house creative teams 

You'll have:

  • Demonstrable experience of media planning on a global scale, implementing multi market campaigns simultaneously 
  • Media agency management experience 
  • An understanding of the importance of a full-funnel measurement framework, with expertise on upper and mid-funnel metrics, identifying the best media for key campaign goals. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, nimbly managing internal stakeholders and external partners within compressed timelines 
  • Experience delivering innovation to drive business growth and/or to solve complicated problem scenarios
  • Commercial understanding of the demands and expectations of the constantly evolving live sports and streaming landscape.
  • A proactive, solution sourcing attitude to enable problem solving at speed and facilitate an innovative mindset 
  • Confident in translating media technical understanding into digestible, persuasive proposals to challenge and guide stakeholders
  • A hunger to learn and evolve in a flexible team environment 
  • Familiarity with creative briefing and an understanding of creative best practice on a channel-specific level 
  • The ability to implement effective new processes to improve team efficiency
