About the Role

The Senior Media Planner will be responsible for managing some of Monks' most important media client relationships. You will support the Media Operations team, demonstrating expertise in building client and platform relationships, managing and growing accounts, storytelling with data, and delivering high-impact presentations to senior clients. Your understanding of digital capabilities across Social, Search, Display/OLV, and Site-Direct will be essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage campaign logistics to ensure flawless execution
  • Lead Social & Digital campaign strategies; collaborate with platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google, Twitter, Amazon, Snapchat, Pinterest
  • Own daily and weekly client interactions; facilitate calls and meetings to address requests and share performance insights
  • Act as the internal champion for client goals; coordinate with Monks Investment, Activation, and Data & Measurement teams for campaign optimisation
  • Analyse data, craft insights, and make recommendations internally and externally
  • Brainstorm and implement new strategies to optimise workflows for clients and the business
  • Understand Monks’ full service offerings; grow client engagements thoughtfully and consultatively
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to create case studies, best practices, and POVs
  • Contribute to the culture of the Media Department and agency by being curious, thoughtful, and fearless
About YouThe essentials:
  • 3+ years of experience managing large clients within complex organisations
  • Strong background in digital and social media, analytics
  • Interest in working with clients across industries such as FinTech, SaaS, Tech, FMCG
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects with high standards
  • Bold and innovative mindset to challenge the status quo
  • Desire to make a significant impact at a rapidly growing media startup
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Leadership and mentorship aspirations
  • BA or equivalent in marketing, advertising, or business
  • Experience with syndicated media planning tools like MediaOcean, Prisma, Comscore, GWI
