As the Senior Marketing Specialist for Germany, you will own the local marketing plan across all channels. You will work with the central marketing team across paid channels (Search, Display, Paid Social, App, events, partnerships) and owned and earned channels (local email content, SEO, blog, Push, PR, Influencers). You will be responsible for driving demand in your local market and working with the country team to deliver revenue. This role will report directly to the Country Manager, with a dotted line to the EU Marketing Director. This is a coverage for maternity leave.

What you will work on:
  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Germany, integrating paid performance channels (SEM, Social, Display) with organic levers (SEO, CRM, Influencer, PR) to drive full-funnel marketing.
  • Develop a Germany-specific marketing playbook, including detailed lifecycle journeys and tailored campaigns to convert new visitors into loyal clients.
  • Collaborate closely with channel managers (SEM, SEO, Email, Push, Display, Paid Social, Affiliate, Organic Social, Influencers, and PR) to ensure the German marketing strategy is fully localized and ROI-focused.
  • Roll up your sleeves to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns together with channel managers  — including reviewing creative, building landing pages with the Marketing team, and analyzing performance data.

  • Partner with the Product, Operations, Partnerships, Localisation and Data teams to improve funnel conversion, optimize city-by-city activation, and enhance the local client experience.
  • Serve as the main marketing point of contact for Germany, working side-by-side with the Country Manager to align plans with growth objectives and OKRs.
  • Maximize brand partnerships, especially with IKEA and external partners, by developing co-marketing campaigns, in-store activations, and shared promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the global design and brand teams to create content and creative asset that reflect the tone of the German market while staying true to our global brand.

  • B2C marketing experience at an advertising agency or start-up company.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first, and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering results, optimizing ROAS, and making data-informed decisions.
  • Confident working across cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from concept to launch — not afraid to get into the weeds when needed.
  • Data-driven mindset, good at identifying insights and data storytelling.
  • Comfortable with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Excel/ Sheets, Meta Ads).
