About Woodstock Legal Services:

Woodstock Legal Services isn’t your typical law firm. We’re breaking the mold – ditching the jargon, delivering expert advice, and doing things differently in the legal world. We've gathered our wisdom from years of legal experience and paired it with a willingness to break the mold.

At Woodstock, you’ll be part of a people-first culture where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is second nature, and your contribution really matters. We invest in our internal teams because we know they’re the engine that keeps everything running and we’re proud of the culture we’ve built together.

About Woodstock Legal Services & Lawhive Partnership

The Woodstock vision was to create a law firm that felt different, one where lawyers had true freedom and flexibility within a community of grade A lawyers and the best operational and regulatory support on offer - all while ensuring our clients remain our constant focus.

Since 2014, Woodstock has grown into a thriving community of lawyers, built on the principle that legal practice can be both professional and personal. We set out to create a place where lawyers have the freedom to shape fulfilling careers, and where clients benefit from clear, expert advice delivered with genuine care.

That vision remains at the heart of everything we do. By joining the Lawhive Group, we are strengthening this vision - combining the trusted relationships and values that define Woodstock, with innovative tools that ease the pressures of legal work. This means our lawyers can dedicate more time to what matters most: guiding and supporting our clients.

The Role

This is a strategic and hands-on role - as our Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead on Woodstock's marketing strategy, build the channel and content engine that puts us in front of the right clients and lawyers, helping establish Woodstock as the most compelling home for consultant lawyers in the UK and trusted legal brand for clients.

You will work closely with VP of Marketing, manage two marketing executives, and have the freedom and backing to build a marketing programme that genuinely moves the needle. This is a role for someone who thinks at the level of brand and audience strategy, and then delivers it themselves.

What You Will Do

Build the content and thought leadership engine
  • Own the content strategy, using Woodstock's consultants as the primary vehicle to demonstrate the calibre of the firm to both prospective lawyers and clients

  • Design flagship content moments: industry reports, whitepapers, webinars, podcasts and video series that establish Woodstock as a leading voice in the market

  • Identify and work with Woodstock's best consultants and external experts to create content that builds the firm's reputation and showcases its expertise across practice areas

  • Turn Woodstock's key spokespeople into recognised thought leaders within the legal community

  • Find opportunities for Woodstock voices to appear on external platforms, publications and channels

  • Build a content repurposing system that maximises the reach and lifespan of every piece of content

Build the brand
  • Define and own Woodstock's brand voice, tone and messaging across all channels

  • Work with the Lawhive ‘Creative Studio’ to evolve the Woodstock brand for national scale

  • Develop practice area specific messaging that builds credibility across commercial law, property and other disciplines

  • Ensure brand consistency across the marketing team and wider business

Drive awareness and acquisition across core client and consultant audiences
  • Own the content and creative strategy that builds brand awareness and drives inbound interest from both prospective consultant lawyers and clients

  • Develop and evolve the consultant recruitment journey on the website, including landing pages, case studies and downloadable assets

  • Work with our paid media team on campaign creative and messaging to drive inbound lawyer enquiries

  • Build deep audience understanding of both consultant lawyers and prospective clients to inform every content and brand decision

Support internal teams
  • Create collateral and campaign support that helps the sales team recruit consultant lawyers

  • Develop practice area specific materials that position Woodstock credibly across different legal disciplines

  • Support the BD Lead with content and brand materials that help consultants win more client work

  • Partner with the Landlord and Tenant in-house team to create content, collateral and thought leadership that supports their business development activity

  • Provide branded materials and creative support to the Community function

Build reputation and advocacy
  • Own Woodstock's reputation strategy including review generation, legal directory submissions and PR

  • Manage media and press opportunities for the firm and its consultants

  • Lead award submissions across relevant legal and industry bodies

Lead the team
  • Manage and develop two marketing executives, providing clear direction and support

  • Build a team culture focused on outcomes and audience understanding rather than process and output

What You'll Bring
  • You have previous experience in the legal sector (or professional services)

  • You have proven experience building a content and thought leadership programme in a B2B or professional services context

  • You have strong brand instincts and can translate strategy into compelling content and creative

  • You are comfortable producing or overseeing a range of formats including video, webinars, podcasts and long form content

  • You understand how to build an audience, not just publish content

  • You have experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences

  • You are a hands-on operator who can also think strategically

  • You thrive in fast moving, scaling businesses where you build as well as manage

  • You have experience managing a team

Why This Role

Woodstock is at an inflection point. The brand, the content and the story are all there to be built upon. You will have the scope, the backing of a well funded group, and a genuinely compelling product to work with. If you want to build something you are proud of in a market that is ready to be disrupted, this is the role.
