Senior Manager, UK & Ireland Marketing

Location: London, UK (Hybrid position, in office 2 days per week)

With millions of diners, 60,000+ restaurant partners and 25+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a passion for helping restaurants thrive. Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global team and its portfolio of metasearch brands. Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture.

The Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join OpenTable’s EMEA Marketing team to own all consumer and restaurant marketing efforts in the UK and Ireland. You will be the single market owner responsible for defining the B2C and B2B growth strategy, driving acquisition across all channels, and acting as the primary voice for the market.

The ideal candidate is a highly productive, data-driven self-starter, and social media growth expert with a deep passion for the UK dining scene. You must be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on campaign execution.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Market Ownership & Performance

  • Strategy & Vision: Partner with EMEA/INTL Marketing leadership to define and execute the overall B2C and B2B brand and performance marketing strategy for the UK and Ireland.
  • Cross-Channel Coordination: Own the overall UK market performance by coordinating the efforts of global channel owners (Performance Marketing, SEO, Email, etc.) to ensure a unified and high-performing strategy.
  • Data & Optimisation: Establish robust testing strategies, track and monitor campaign performance, and use quantitative/qualitative data to adjust tactics and make strong recommendations to partners.
  • Market Advocacy: Serve as the key collaborator and strong voice for the UK market across EMEA, INTL, US Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.

B2C Content & Social Leadership

  • Organic Social Mastery: Oversee the UK organic social strategy (including TikTok, Instagram, Meta), managing content production, creative agency relationships, influencer programmes, and detailed channel analysis/performance metrics.
  • Campaign Management: Own the full lifecycle of UK B2C content and campaign activities, from ideation to hands-on execution, including localising global brand campaigns and executing localised contra-marketing partnerships.
  • Agency Management: Efficiently manage external agencies and vendors to support content and design production, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards and brand guidelines.

B2B Marketing & Industry Engagement

  • Restaurant Growth: Collaborate directly with local Sales and Account Management teams to initiate and execute marketing support programmes for restaurant partners.
  • Local Industry Focus: Drive targeted B2B initiatives together with channel managers, including restaurant events, industry partnerships, and trade communications to strengthen OpenTable's position in the hospitality sector.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in content and digital marketing, preferably for a lifestyle brand or technology company.
  • Market/Industry: Deep passion for the restaurant business and hospitality; familiarity with the UK dining scene and industry.
  • Technical/Data: Strong analytical skills; proficiency with marketing, social, and BI platforms and ability to leverage AI/LLM platforms to maximise efficiency.
  • Social Media Expertise: Proven success to build cohesive social media strategy across organic and paid formats to drive organic engagement and conversions.
  • Leadership: Confident stakeholder management with ability to justify direction to senior leaders; outstanding project management skills.
  • Traits: Highly organised, efficient multitasker; self-motivated, flexible, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Foundational: Bachelor's Degree required. English language fluency (additional European languages a plus).

Work Environment & Flexibility

At OpenTable, we pride ourselves on fostering a global and dynamic work environment. As a team member with us, you will benefit from a schedule tailored to accommodate a global workforce operating across multiple time zones. While the majority of your responsibilities may align with conventional business hours, there will be instances where you are expected to manage communications - via calls, Slack messages, or emails - outside of regular working hours to effectively collaborate with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, and/or address urgent matters. OpenTable will always abide by and consider local laws and regulations.

Inclusion

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We know the best ideas come when we bring different voices to the table, so we're building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants we serve—and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
