The Role:
As the first marketing hire in EMEA at Canoe Intelligence, you will be responsible for building and leading our marketing efforts in the region. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will develop and execute strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue growth across EMEA. Your role will encompass overseeing events, content creation, and campaigns, while closely collaborating with business development, the US-based marketing team, and our PR firm.
We are seeking a strategic, commercially-focused B2B marketing leader who can drive awareness, demand generation, and revenue objectives to support our ambitious growth plans. As the first member of the EMEA marketing team, you will also be tasked with building and scaling the regional team.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement regional marketing strategies aligned with Canoe's goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and drive campaign effectiveness.
  • Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and exclusive client gatherings.
  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of compelling and impactful content tailored to the EMEA region, including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and social media updates. Ensure all content is aligned with Canoe's brand voice and messaging.
  • Campaign Management: Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and client engagement in partnership with the Growth Marketing team. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • PR Coordination: Coordinate with our European-based PR firm to manage media relations, press releases, and public-facing communications in the region.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on key performance metrics, including campaign ROI, event success, and content engagement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Head of Marketing to optimize regional marketing efforts.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on event management, content creation, and campaign execution within the EMEA region.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the financial services or alternative investments industries is highly desirable.
