This is a critical and high-impact role, focused on understanding marketing behaviour and performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and improving how we measure return on investment and ROAS across channels and campaigns. What you’ll be doing:

  • ROI & ROAS Insights: Provide clear and actionable insights into marketing spend efficiency, return on investment, and campaign performance to guide budget allocations.
  • Marketing Performance Drivers: Identify key factors behind campaign success, helping the business understand what drives growth, engagement, and customer acquisition.
  • Cross-Channel Analysis: Compare performance across paid, owned, and earned channels to highlight opportunities for optimisation.
  • Customer & Journey Insights: Analyse customer behaviour, retention, and lifetime value to deepen understanding of how marketing influences growth.
  • Digital Channel Performance: Assess digital campaigns (search, social, display, web, and app) and optimise conversion funnels to improve campaign outcomes.

Day-to-day:

  • Deliver analysis and insights that translate marketing data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Strategy teams to inform campaign planning, budgeting, and performance review.
  • Act as a thought partner on measurement and analytics—challenging assumptions, raising opportunities, and driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Work with internal teams and agency partners to ensure the right data sources are available, accurate, and ready for analysis.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as an ambassador for marketing analytics and raising its profile as a driver of strategy and growth.
  • Stay up to date on marketing measurement practices and tools, applying new approaches to improve how we measure impact.

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years (or equivalent) working in marketing analytics and performance measurement, with a track record of helping optimise campaigns and marketing spend.
  • Skilled at turning marketing and customer data into actionable insights that support business and marketing decisions.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Proficient with reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, DOMO, or similar (SQL knowledge an advantage but not essential).
  • Solid understanding of marketing concepts, media channels, and the marketing ecosystem, with experience identifying key drivers of value and performance.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills - able to translate insights into compelling narratives for business leaders
  • Commercially minded - able to link marketing performance to business growth, revenue, and customer outcomes.
  • Curious, proactive, and skilled at identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in marketing initiatives.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid Working (within Flexmodes)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • On Site Gym
  • Subsidised Café
  • Free soft drinks
