Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager to join our Research & Strategic Partnerships team. In this role, you will be responsible for convening the right partners and delivering tangible progress through our strategic partnerships. You will drive impactful initiatives that enhance society’s resilience to complex risks and contribute to Lloyd’s sustainability and action leadership goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver strategic partnerships with key organisations such as the United Nations, World Bank, and the Lloyd's Disaster Risk Facility
  • Manage initiatives with strategic partners to ensure timely and successful delivery of outputs and impact.
  • Identify and facilitate new relationships to drive action on critical global challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Research & Strategic Partnerships team to deliver impactful research and insights.
  • Partner with the Sustainability team to advance Lloyd’s sustainability initiatives.
  • Support engagement with government and regulatory bodies to foster public-private collaboration.
  • Communicate the results and impact of partnerships to key audiences.
  • Maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders within and beyond the insurance industry.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach and a track record of delivering impact through partnerships.
  • Proactive, motivated, and resourceful problem-solver with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communicator with strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build trust and relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Experience in developing and executing complex projects to tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of how insurance can build resilience and protection for communities and businesses.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, disaster risk financing, or international development is desirable.
