About the Role

Workday is looking for an outstanding Senior Solution Consulting Manager to lead a team of experts focusing on Workday Adaptive Planning across EMEA.This is your chance to lead a world class, cross-functional team of Presales / Solution Consultant experts, who are also subject matter experts, spanning EPM software including Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, (plus Sales, Headcount, Operations planning) and Consolidation; who are demonstrating Workday products and extending the value of next-generation cloud-based EPM solutions to prospects across EMEA.Your experience includes expertise in leading, as well as mentoring, teams on interactive pre-sales discovery meetings, analysis of the organisation’s current operations and business needs; and demonstrating Workday’s ground breaking, cloud-based Enterprise solutions to address their requirements.As a Senior Manager you will:

  • Provide consistent clarity around priorities and goals for the team, leveraging a firm understanding of the broader business pain points to illustrate the “why” behind them
  • Provide regular and timely feedback; addressing performance concerns as they arise in alignment with Workday internal processes. Coach direct reports both on how to deliver exceptional demos and how to strategically influence deals 
  • Demonstrate through action a performance-driven mentality, demanding quality and accountability from yourself and others
  • Use data to collaborate with aligned sales leaders identifying opportunities to accelerate deals, drive sales execution excellence and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team
  • Create a spirit of appreciation by continuously recognizing employees through awards and recognition program
  • Actively contribute to domain and market specific communities of practice with focus on establishing best practices across the segment
  • Mentor new managers in the market segment both in Solution Consulting and sales leadership, Services Executives, etc
  • Elevate your impact to the Region or Global Level, by leading initiatives across a domain, industry, or other logical cross section within Regional (or Global) Presales

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of EPM Planning Presales / Solution Consultants
  • Deep knowledge of and experience working with EPM/Planning solutions
  • Experience presenting EPM solutions in front of technical and business audiences
  • Expertise knowledge of ERP software, ideally around HCM, FINS, Planning/EPM, and Analytics
  • Proven track record of recruiting, developing and retaining exceptional Presales talent.
  • Adept at pivoting and adapting to and communicating changes in organizational direction or process while ensuring team alignment.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel
