Make Your Mark:
The Senior Manager, Professional Services is responsible for implementing the company's accounting software products with new and existing clients.
Responsibilities include leading and overseeing a team of either Engagement Managers, Solution Architects or Consultants that will successfully implement the BlackLine standard products. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the Professional Services function . The Senior Manager will be measured on customer satisfaction, revenue/margin and utilization , time to go-live for implementation projects, and ARR retention.
You'll Get To:

  • Manage portfolio of clients, projects, products, tasks and activities. Ensures standards are consistently applied and services methodology continuously improved.
  • Effectively leads a team of Engagement Managers, Solution Architects or Consultant s to meet team and department goals: Determining staffing requirements, hire and manage staff, including establishing goals and expectations, and monitoring team performance.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of Client Implementations in EMEA.
  • Train and mentor new team members as they learn the BlackLine suite of products
  • Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department
  • Understanding of Professional S ervices demand, utilization , revenue , capacity management process , budgets, forecasts and actual results and business key performance indicators KPIs.
  • Manage s PS process es and best practices documentation
  • Function as primary client and partner contact for escalations around implementations:
  • Ability to answer client questions regarding software functionality throughout the implementation phase.
  • Ability to provide recommendations and best practices to clients on how to configure the standard BlackLine products.
  • Understanding of compliance, contracting and industry regulatory impacts.
  • Partners with other BlackLine functional teams and understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Efficient and effective throughput of implementation and other professional services projects for timely revenue recognition and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Project status reporting
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Bring:

  • Years of Experience in Related Field: 5 years
    Education: Bachelor's Degree
    Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Experience in SaaS industry and/or Software, as well as issues related to installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
    • Experience with large scale ERP systems including SAP and Oracle
    • Advanced Knowledge/experience in Accounting, Audits, Financial Services, Software Technology, SaaS industry and/or related experience
    • Demonstrated successful completion of complex enterprise-level client implementation projects
    • Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels
    • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolutions skills
    • Ability to deliver world-class service and high-impact results while navigating challenging situations
    • Ability to facilitate and harness cross-team collaboration working with teams in-person and virtually
    • Technology /Consulting background/experience
