About the Role:

This Senior Planning Manager role is an exciting position that will be at the core of setting the media planning agenda for one for the world’s most staple brands, Philips. As part of a growing team, the Sr. Planning Manager will be part of the Global Philips Strategy Team at OMD EMEA that will provide exposure, growth, as well as opportunities to be in the spotlight with senior stakeholder from both OMD EMEA and Philips. As an extension of this role, you will have ample opportunity to widen your horizon by being part of a wider scope of collaborating with Philips’ marcoms and business teams, and their partner agencies.

We will look to you to be a core member of a team that influences how Philips shows up to consumers in media, and ensuring media plays a vital role in the growth of Philips’ business. Your media planning expertise will be heavily leaned on by key members across the business.

Not only will you be part of a thriving Strategy Team for Philips globally, but you will also be part of a wider Strategy and Planning community at OMD EMEA that will also provide further opportunity for training, exposure and a community to lean on. In other words, you will quickly find yourself being inspired, growing and contributing to the business of Philips and OMD EMEA.

As the Senior Planning Manager, you will:

  • Work with global, regional, and key local teams to ensure media best-practices and guidelines are understood and actively utilised, whilst allowing for local nuances to shine through in media plans.
  • Lead the tracking and recording of regional/local plans’ adherence to global strategies and guidelines.
  • Review and feedback on quarterly and annual plans from regions across Philips’ categories.
  • Digest plans across regions and markets by identifying patterns, similarities and differences to provide succinct insights for the global and regional teams.
  • Present these findings to senior stakeholders across the OMD and Philips team.
  • Play a key role in connecting global and regional strategies with planning and activation realities.
  • Be an advocate for global media planning fundamentals and guidelines whilst championing local nuances for best-in-class media performance.
  • Develop clear and scalable planning guidelines and frameworks by working with Philips clients, media partners, and other Omnicom discipline teams.
