We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon DLF. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

What can you expect?

This role is a key support position within the Change Office team, and is critical to the efficient and effective governance, support and oversight of projects within the Pacific Change Portfolio. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, be proactive and able to operate with a high level of independence, and confident in adapting effectively between administrative, analytical, and coordination tasks.

  • Monitor and measure compliance to standards, reviewing documents for condition, controls and accessibility against expected standards
  • Identify gaps and discrepancies across and within different artefacts for attention and investigation
  • Escalate non-conformance issues and promote adherence to standards with key stakeholders
  • Assist in team coverage of financial and vendor management Change Office services , including but not limited to: supplier cost tracking, retainer cost handling, purchase order management, system code management, template maintenance and delivery cost tracking
  • Help maintain key data for all initiatives within the Pacific Change Portfolio, with a laser focus on consistent, accurate, and quality inputs
  • Assist in the analysis and co-ordination of portfolio level tracking against performance indicators
  • Consolidate data as required for reporting purposes
  • Manage ad hoc requests as directed to support the Change Office and broader Pacific Change & Transformation Delivery Team
  • Proactively contribute to a high-performance team environment, working in collaboration with Change Office colleagues to build and maintain high service standards

Note: Applicants should be flexible working in shifts

What you need to have: 

 Knowledge & Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices
  • Hands-on experience with Project Portfolio Management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including managers, SMEs and consultants
  • Excellent Analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Sharepoint
  • Working Experienced on Project Management Office
  • Project Management Certifications is must, PMBOK preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences and build constructive relationships at all levels
  • Should be able to execute transition plan
  • Should have the ability to collate and analyze program level metrics.
  • Should be expert with doing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and techniques.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision to meet firm deadlines.
  • Service Now (now SPM) – Demand, Capacity and Allocation, Tracking
  • Flexible to work in multiple shift to support multiple regions

  

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable institute in any stream

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 9 years’ experience in service industry
  • Minimum 12 months experience in Manager / Senior Manager
  • Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.
  • Should not be under any Performance Continuity Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
  • Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer in the last 3 months
