As a Reward function, we are passionate about ensuring our pay and benefits are highly market competitive, equitable and reward behaviours aligned to the company values.  In this spirit we are searching for a new Senior Reward Manager to work in partnership with our Group Head of Reward for all compensation and benefits processes and policies across CHANEL, and to serve as a key member of our wider Reward community.  The role will act as a subject matter expert and will partner with, and report to, the Group Head of Reward to shape Reward design across CHANEL. Responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage the global annual compensation process from end to end, including budget planning, salary and bonus benchmarking / analysis, and implementation of salary planning decisions
  • Contribute to the global priorities and objectives and provide innovative ideas for global Reward program improvements and efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Group Head of Reward ensuring effective Reward processes, policies and offerings are in place to align with CHANEL’s Reward philosophy
  • Liaise with the Talent team on providing communications around Reward and performance management processes
  • Manage survey vendor relationships and company’s participation in salary and variable compensation surveys
  • Lead global job gradings with HR and business partners (using WTW global grading system). Oversee role calibrations, and manage global job architecture framework to ensure robust governance and consistency is maintained
  • Collaborate with the People Solutions team to deliver CHANEL compensation programs; specifically, the Annual Compensation Review using Workday
  • Partner with Finance teams by providing compensation data used in quarterly forecasting and annual reporting requirements
  • Engage with various stakeholders across CHANEL and educate and advise on Reward matters
  • Prepare compensation data research, cost impact, modelling and analyses as needed
  • Staying abreast of leading practices and trends with respect to compensation, employee benefits and pensions and the broader market
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and advise on any compensation related changes

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • In-depth Reward experience gained from working in a global organisation. Experience in consulting and/or retail industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Proven track record of supporting the implementation of Reward projects across a wide region / multiple markets
  • Excellent compensation program management skills and knowledge of annual review processes, compensation reporting tools, WTW Job Grading/Family and benchmark analyses
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets
  • Strong attention to detail combined with analytical/critical thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including tact, discretion and ethics while projecting a positive, professional image in all interactions
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects at once and prioritize workloads
