The Senior Manager, Global Payroll Transformation is responsible for developing and executing global payroll programs, collaborating with various departments to optimize processes, and leading payroll transformation efforts across multiple countries. This includes overseeing system enhancements, mentoring business analysts, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
The Senior Manager, Global Payroll Transformation will develop and execute a global programs for payroll processing from input validation to employee/tax disbursement. The role will work closely with Operations and HR business colleagues to drive optimized design and implementation and improved employee experience. The role will partner with the local teams to execute the payroll strategy, with leadership in the areas of requirements gathering, testing, communication and change management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and execute payroll process and system programs in alignment with global strategy and HR Services’ transformation
- Collaborate with Data Privacy, Information Security, Procurement, Legal, IT to ensure payroll solution meet company standards
- Develop payroll and time and attendance projects that address simplification, systemization and standardization of processes both on a global, regional and country level
- Drive global payroll and time and attendance transformation stream for HR Transformation efforts to align countries to target HR operating model
- Develop and execute payroll and time and attendance projects for any company divestitures, mergers, acquisitions and any large organizational changes
- Collaborate closely with regional payroll teams to execute and align country payroll teams to global payroll and time and attendance design, while continually brainstorming process solutions for new situations and changing business dynamics
- Collaborate with Global WFM Product Owner on system-related enhancements
- Address any business requests for enhancements or changes to meet a continual changing environment
- Drive the overall design, deployment, and maintenance of the selected payroll solutions throughout the company’s global footprint
- Complete design sessions to optimize the process and system configuration to streamline the end-user experience and all parties impacted downstream
- Oversee new requests and/or system enhancements to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate to supporting departments payroll and time and attendance reporting needs addressing SLAs, KPIs to track process performance
- Provide update to project team regarding status, risks, open items and SLAs
- Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions/plans and prioritize future enhancements
- Develop and maintain site sharing training, job aids, system updates, policies, etc.
- Communicate updates, systems and business changes to stakeholders as needed
- Mentor and manager team of business analysts to achieve company objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
- 7+ years’ experience with payroll processes and/or transformation
- Experience with executing system implementations and projects
- Experience in global environment across multiple countries
- Possesses strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information
- Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across functions to drive teams towards success-based results
- Must be focused, goal driven, accountable, and exhibit significant attention to detail
