Fresh Modular Planning Senior Manager Role Profile

 

Purpose of the role:
 
The Senior Manager for Fresh Modular Planning, leads the modular planning team in our home office to ensure excellent execution of modulars that deliver compelling customer range and displays across all formats. Ensuring operational benefits and end to end deliverables are met, working closely with supply chain, retail teams, and commercial teams. Using benefits of world class data tools to support in the decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Fresh Modular Planning Strategy

    • Drive the strategic direction of modular planning across all formats.

    • Ensure modulars deliver compelling customer ranges and visually impactful displays.

    • Review, diagnose and build proposal working collaboratively with Central Space Range and Display team on space opportunities

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, develop, and mentor colleagues

    • Drives fun, passion and pace across the teams

    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with supply chain, retail operations, and commercial teams to align modular execution with business goals.

    • Facilitate seamless communication and coordination across stakeholders to ensure end-to-end deliverables are met.

·       Operational Excellence

    • Ensure modulars are operationally efficient and executable at store level.

    • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability across total Space, Range and Display.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making

    • Leverage world-class data tools and analytics to inform planning decisions.

    • Translate insights into actionable strategies that optimise product placement and customer engagement.

  • Project Management & Execution

    • Oversee the fresh activity plan calendar and ensure timely delivery of range activity.

    • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and adapt to meet changing business needs.

·       Customer-Centric Focus

    • Champion a customer-first mindset in all activities.

    • Continuously evaluate and refine modulars to reflect evolving customer preferences and shopping behaviors.

    • Understand financial benefits for change and this is built into further planned activity changes.
