Payoneer’s mission is to enable businesses of all sizes from anywhere in the world to access the rising, global economy by enabling them to transact globally as easily as they do locally.  We’re looking for a builder of Global ER and Immigration, someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into the complexities of employee relations and global immigration and build something from the ground up. This isn’t a cushy, corporate role where you get to coast. We’re looking for a hands-on problem-solver who can navigate legal minefields, manage workforce mobility, and keep our people at the heart of everything we do—all while staying laser-focused on compliance.

 We’re talking about someone who thrives in ambiguity and isn’t afraid to make tough calls. You’ll be setting up policies, resolving disputes, and ensuring we stay ahead of global employment law and immigration regulations. You’ve done this before, and now you’re ready to own it and make an impact.

 You’ll be starting as a one-person show, so there’s no hiding behind a team—you are the team. We need someone who can build the entire function from scratch, handle the big decisions, and sweat the small stuff when it counts. If you’ve got experience in navigating the legal, the complex, and the downright tricky parts of HR, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to set the strategy, build the function, and make a huge impact.

 What You’ll Do::

  • Build the Function: You’re not walking into an established team. You’ll be building this from the ground up. Policies, processes, frameworks—it's all yours to create.
  • Own Global Employee Relations: Lead the charge on everything employee relations. From managing escalations to designing the strategy, you’ll be in the thick of it all.
  • Master of Immigration: Global workforce mobility is critical for us. You’ll handle visas, work permits, and make sure we’re always on the right side of the law, no matter the country.
  • Risk Mitigator: You’ll be the one to spot potential legal and compliance risks and figure out how to navigate them without slowing us down.
  • Problem Solver: When conflicts come up (and they will), you’ll be the one making sure we handle things fairly, consistently, and fast.

What We’re Looking For::

  • 12+ years of experience in employee relations, immigration, and compliance. You’ve seen the tough stuff, and you know how to handle it
  • You’ve built ER or immigration functions before—or at least you know exactly how to go about it
  • Expert in global employment law and immigration. You know the rules, and you know how to work within them while still getting things done
  • You know how to manage complexity and simplify the hard stuff
  • You’re someone people trust when things get tough—you can be both direct and diplomatic, depending on the situation

What we offer: UK

  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Healthshield Cash Plans for everyday health expenses
  • 6% Pension contribution
  • Annual fitness and Work From Home Allowance
  • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave
  • Tech scheme and Cycle scheme
  • Employee Gifts & Social events
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Hybrid working
