Senior Manager, Cyber Technical (Cloud Identity Access Management)

Capital One is seeking a technical security solution leader to deliver game-changing cybersecurity solutions in our Cloud IAM team. As a candidate for this role, you're able to seamlessly switch from managing people to diving deep into controls and technology to driving high level, strategic discussions around roadmaps and security solutions.
What you'll do:

  • Work within and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical IAM solutions that are foundational to enterprise capabilities on a massive scale
  • Directly contribute to the Cloud IAM platform by developing creative and efficient coding and configuration solutions that differentiate us from the competition
  • Share your passion for staying on top of Cloud IAM trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities
  • Utilize programming languages like Python, Go, and a variety of cloud IAM tools and services
  • Working with internal stakeholders across numerous technical functions


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years experience in cybersecurity or information technology
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Identity Access Management
  • At least 4 years of experience working with a public cloud provider (AWS or GCP)
  • At least 4 years of people management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Google Cloud's Identity and Access Management (IAM) system
  • 2+ years of experience in programming (Python or Go)
  • 4+ years of experience leading technical initiatives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $225,400 - $257,200 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical
Richmond, VA: $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
