YOUR MISSION

The analytical engine that powers commercial decision-making across Global eCommerce.


• Conducts deep-dive analysis across merchandising, pricing, promotions, demand, marketing, CRM, content,supply chain,customer behavior and purchase performance.

• Identifies performance drivers, quantifies opportunities and investigates business issues using structured, hypothesis-led analysis.

• Transforms complex findings into clear, actionable commercial recommendations for markets and global stakeholders.

• Supports performance reviews and planning with decision-ready visualization, strong data storytelling and evidence-based challenge.

• Understands decision driver trees across levers in Ecom and performs RCA to identify the key actions to unlock value

IDENTIFY - Monitor and identify anomalies and opportunity pockets in commercial performance impacting key metrics. Create tangible hypotheses for data deep dives.

ANALYZE - Explore commercial performance across markets, categories, channels, customers and the eCommerce funnel. Analyze across critical levers to create data validated statements.

DIAGNOSE - Use structured problem-solving to isolate root causes, relationships, risks and opportunities. Arrive at valid data backed conclusions which can be acted upon.

RECOMMEND - Convert findings into prioritized actions supported by impact sizing, evidence and business context.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

• Analyze performance across revenue, traffic, conversion, average order value, margin, demand, returns, promotions and customer KPIs.

• Deep dive across merchandising, pricing, marketing, CRM, content and purchase behavior.

• Identify material trends, emerging risks and commercial opportunities.


ROOT-CAUSE & OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS

• Apply driver trees, segmentation, cohort, funnel and variance analysis to explain performance changes.

• Form and test hypotheses, distinguish signal from noise and quantify the size of opportunities.

• Combine multiple data sources and business context into a coherent commercial view.


INSIGHT DEVELOPMENT & STORYTELLING

• Translate findings into clear, prioritized and commercially relevant recommendations.

• Create compelling, executive-ready narratives through data visualization and strong storytelling.

• Support market reviews, commercial planning and performance discussions with evidence-based inputs.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• Work with market teams and Merchandising, Pricing, Demand, Marketing, CRM, Content and Commercial Planning stakeholders.

• Align analytical scope, clarify business questions and communicate assumptions, limitations and implications.

• Contribute reusable analytical approaches and best practices to the Commercial Excellence team.

YOUR TALENT

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


• 6–8 years in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, eCommerce Analytics, Insights, Consulting or a related discipline.

• Experience in E-com sector mandatory with understanding of how each lever across merchandising, pricing, demand, marketing, CRM, content work together to drive commercial impact

• Strong experience working with complex datasets and translating findings into business recommendations..

• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Python or equivalent visualization tools, and advanced Excel.

• Experience in D2C brands, fashion retail, consumer retail, sportswear -digital-first or eCommerce brands is preferred.
