Senior M&A Actuary

We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.
We’re looking for a commercially minded qualified actuary to support our global M&A activity and help deliver Compre’s growth ambitions.

Responsibilities
Working closely with Underwriting, Finance, Risk & Compliance and Actuarial teams, you’ll lead actuarial due diligence across acquisitions—assessing reserving, capital, pricing, valuation and deal structure. You’ll manage multiple transactions, engage with cedants and external advisers, and oversee the transition of successful deals into the wider business.

Candidate requirements
• Right to work in the location you’re applying to
• 5+ years’ post-qual non-life insurance or reinsurance actuarial experience
• Strong transaction due diligence and/or risk-based pricing expertise
• Broad reserving knowledge, including liability lines
• The commercial judgement to turn actuarial analysis into clear deal recommendations
• Confident communication, relationship management and leadership skills
• The ability to take ownership and deliver across competing priorities
• Capital experience, including BSCR or Solvency II SCR, would be advantageous.
• Contributing positively to our culture and values.
