Lead design and delivery of Liferay-based digital platform solutions, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams. Design e2e platform plans, run technical workshops, estimate and scope implementations and migrations, develop web applications (HTML/CSS/JS), integrate with third-party systems, support go-live and handover, report progress to client, and lead agile cross-functional teams.
This is a remote position.
For an international organization in London, we are urgently looking for a FULL REMOTE Senior Liferay DXP Developer.
This position is long-term. Candidates need to live and work in Europe to make occasional meetings on-site possible. This position is open for freelancers and employees. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Working with the technical lead to ensure that all solutions meet the requirements and standards;
- Become the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams being able to communicate in both directions;
- Capable of designing and delivering e2e platform plans, detecting dependencies and mitigating them down the road;
- Participate in the Go-live and transition to the relevant support team;
- Responsible for reporting directly to the client the progress of the development team;
- Support the communication with client technical teams to integrate our platforms with third party systems;
- Lead agile teams where business, UX, and technical profiles are working together;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +4 years of professional IT experience
- Proven experience as a platform developer in the past (Liferay, Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Sitecore…) – especially Liferay;
- Proven experience delivering E2E digital platform projects;
- Desirable experience managing stakeholders from a project;
- Proven experience leading technical workshops;
- Experience estimating and scoping Digital Platform implementation and migration projects;
- Proven experience developing Web-based applications (CSS, HTML, JS);
- Experience working with agile methodology;
- Good experience of working in a cross-functional team;
- Desirable Experience working with AWS/Azure;
