Who we are

Typeform is a refreshingly different form builder. We help over 150,000 businesses collect the data they need with forms, surveys, and quizzes that people enjoy. Designed to look striking and feel effortless to fill out, Typeform drives 500 million responses every year—and integrates with essential tools like Slack, Zapier, and Hubspot.

Typeform is fully remote by design. For this role, we can hire candidates based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, or the Netherlands.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who blends a strong legal foundation with sharp business acumen, process optimization skills, and top-notch project management. You’ll be the go-to partner for complex vendor and customer negotiations, the architect of smoother deal workflows, and the driver of initiatives that make Typeform faster, more scalable, and more customer-centric as we move upmarket.

You’ll support the company with legal and commercial expertise, while also stepping beyond “traditional legal” to build structure, efficiency, and clarity in overlooked business areas like vendor management, deal desk operations, and contract governance.

This is a role for someone who started in law, moved into SaaS, and now thrives at the intersection of legal, commercial, and business operations.

Things you will do:

Negotiate & advise

  • Lead complex, high-value vendor and customer agreements.
  • Partner with enterprise stakeholders (e.g., HiBob, Salesforce) in native-level English.
  • Give practical, solution-oriented advice that balances risk with business impact.

Make contracts & processes smarter

  • Own and improve Omnea and other procurement/contract workflows, cutting cycle times and clarifying responsibilities.
  • Build governance processes that track agreements, renewals, and obligations—without slowing teams down.

Enable enterprise sales

  • Help build the foundation for a Deal Desk, so Account Executives can focus on selling, not paperwork.
  • Structure deals, define guardrails, and support Sales leadership in scaling upmarket operations.

Lead cross-functional initiatives

  • Partner with the Head of Legal to land Typeform’s legal strategy and support compliance (privacy, risk, governance).
  • Drive cross-functional projects from idea to delivery.
  • Run trainings and awareness programs to raise commercial and legal literacy across the company.

Be a business partner

  • Connect Legal, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Product.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively propose solutions.
  • Bring a service mindset but challenge processes and risks where needed.

What you already bring to the table:
  • Qualified lawyer (US or EU) with 4–6 years’ experience.
  • SaaS or tech experience, ideally with exposure beyond pure legal work into commercial and operational areas.
  • Experienced in negotiating complex enterprise deals.
  • Process-oriented with a track record of simplifying workflows and governance.
  • Commercially savvy—you understand the business, not just the clauses.
  • Excellent project management skills—you get things done across teams.
  • Trusted advisor with confidence to influence at senior levels.
  • Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, flexible, curious.
  • Familiarity with privacy, compliance, or risk frameworks.
  • Experience setting up or supporting a Deal Desk.
  • International exposure across the US and EU markets.

*Typeform drives hundreds of millions of interactions each year, enabling conversational, human-centered experiences across the globe. We move as one team, empowering our collective efforts by valuing each individual’s unique perspective. This fosters strong bonds grounded in respect, transparency, and trust. We champion our diverse customer base by anticipating their needs and addressing their challenges with priority. Committed to excellence, we hold high expectations for ourselves and each other, continuously striving to deliver exceptional results.

We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and stand firmly against discrimination and harassment of any kind—whether based on race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. Everyone is welcome here.
